Broward County Sheriff Tells Black Leaders: "We Are Not Preparing For A Riot"
After Zimmerman Verdict As He Asks For Their Help Stopping A Riot

(Because if he was preparing for a riot that would be racist)

FORT LAUDERDALE — Broward Sheriff Scott Israel, his top brass, several police chiefs and dozens of pastors and community leaders from throughout the county met on Tuesday to prepare for any fallout triggered by the verdict in the George Zimmerman murder trial.

"We have no reason to believe there will be any civil unrest of any kind," Israel said. "We just want to be prepared."

The preparations discussed at the 45-minute meeting included the sheriff's Raise Your Voice public service announcements designed to encourage the expression of joy or frustration, whichever way the verdict goes, while discouraging any violent backlash.

[...]

"We are not preparing for a riot. We're not preparing for a riot," he stressed to the audience. "What we are doing now is being proactive to defuse that."

If the verdict comes down before weekend services, pastors said they can still get information to their congregations the old-fashioned way.

"Our people are connected community-wide and they'll spread the word," said Pastor Rasheed Baaith, of Christ Resurrection Community Church in Fort Lauderdale. "Will we get everyone? Probably not, but we'll get a good number of folks.

Saudi Arabia To Expel Non-Muslims Seen Eating Or Drinking In Public During their goofy Ramadan

(Saudi Arabia threatened on Tuesday to expel non-Muslim expatriates who eat, drink, or smoke in public during the Muslim fasting month of their rendition of Disneyland's Ramadan.  Anyhoo... to summarize: When Muslims come here we must adapt, when we go to Muslim countries we must adapt.  Wait... how is that fair?  Just looking at those 3 stooges wearing Italian restaurant tablecloths makes me want a extra-large bacon and sausage pizza.}

Via NOW Lebanon:

Ramadan begins in the kingdom on Wednesday.

"Non-Muslim residents in the kingdom must not eat or drink in public during Ramadan, in respect to the holiness of Ramadan and the feelings of Muslims," said an interior ministry statement published by the official SPA news agency.

Foreigners caught breaking the fast in public "will be subject to deterrent measures that include terminating their employment contracts and expelling them from the kingdom," the ministry said.

It added that "companies, corporations and individuals are required to inform their employees" of the rules.

Oil-rich Saudi Arabia, which applies a strict version of sharia (Islamic) law, is home to eight million foreigners, mostly Asians.

Far-Left Muslim-Huggin' Liberal Demo-Rat Senators Side With Terrorist Movement CAIR,
Ask Back-End Leader Obuma To Stop Force-Feeding Gitmo Terrorists

"Oh look... Dirty Harry just crapped his pants again"

(Hey DiFi and Turban Durbin... "Let 'Em Starve"
....apologies to "Let it Snow"

"Oh, the jihadis are in Gitmo
They overeat so much, they sh!t mo'
And since they've too many carbs
Let 'em starve, let 'em starve, let 'em starve!

The prisoners there are bleating
That they suffer from overeating
Who cares for their verbal barbs?
Let 'em starve, let 'em starve, let 'em starve!

If they really have got the nerve
To stop eating 'til they're dead
From our purpose we still won't swerve;
They've freed up another bed!

Who cares about this kerfuffle
As they all refuse their felafel?
A slice from the pork roast we'll carve;
Or let 'em starve, let 'em starve, let 'em starve!"

....Or we could:

Re-open Alcatraz.  The fine far-left, Muslim butt-kissin' citizens of San Francisco would rejoice in hearing the call to prayers five times a day.)

Via Politico:

Two veteran Democratic senators, Dianne Feinstein of California and Dick Durbin of Illinois, are urging President Barack Obama to rein in force feeding of hunger-striking inmates at the U.S. military's Guantanamo Bay prison for terror suspects.

"We write to urge you to use your Presidential authority to end the unnecessary force-feedings of detainees at the Guantanamo Bay detention facility," the senators wrote Wednesday in a letter to Obama.

As Feinstein did in a letter sent to Defense Secretary Chuck Hagel last month, the senators stopped short of saying Guantanamo prisoners should never be force fed, but argued the current policy is simply too aggressive.

"We encourage you to direct the Department of Defense to stop conducting such large-scale force-feedings and, where force-feeding is medically necessary to save a detainee's life, to observe the protections required at U.S. Bureau of Prisons facilities. It is our understanding that the U.S. federal prison guidelines for force-feedings include several safeguards and oversight mechanisms that are not in place at Guantanamo Bay," Feinstein and Durbin [scribbled].

"Moderate" Indonesia: Muslim Hardliners Form Islamic Vigilante Squads To Enforce Morality During Ramadan

(And by enforce they mean beat the livin' sh!t out of you until you comply)

"Whatta mean 'No Beer during Ramadamadamn'"

Via Jakarta Globe:
Muslims across Indonesia began celebrating the holy month of Ramadan Wednesday, with hard-liners vowing to raid "sinful" bars and police steamrolling a mountain of alcohol and porn amid rising intolerance.

Islam's holiest month is used by hard-liners in Indonesia as an opportunity to attack nightclubs, bars and shops that openly sell alcohol, the consumption of which is against Islamic law.

There were fears the situation could be worse this year after a recent upsurge in attacks on religious minorities and non-mainstream Muslims.

Critics say hard-liners such as the notorious Islamic Defenders Front (FPI) have been emboldened by the government's failure to crack down on them and prevent such attacks.

In the days before Ramadan, there were already reports the FPI — who led protests that forced pop star Lady Gaga to cancel a concert in Jakarta last year — had started conducting such raids.

"We will take firm action against the circulation of alcohol, naked dancing and prostitution," Habib Idrus Algadri, head of an FPI group in Depok district outside Jakarta, was quoted as saying in a local newspaper.

He was leading a group of FPI members who confiscated bottles of alcohol from a shop at the weekend.

Habib Salim Alatas, the head of the FPI's Jakarta branch, told AFP that 50 members would be sent out to monitor nightspots in the capital every evening.

"We will send out groups of two to three wearing civilian clothes to spy on sinful activities like the drinking of alcohol taking place around Jakarta during the Ramadan holy month," he said.

Joke Of The Day:

Syria And Iran To Run For Spot On U.N. Human Rights Council

(Just when you think the U.N. can't get any more pathetic)

(Reuters) – Syria and Iran are planning to run for a spot on the U.N. Human Rights Council later this year, U.N. diplomats told Reuters on Wednesday, despite criticism from watchdog groups about widespread rights abuses in both countries.

The General Assembly's annual elections for the United Nations' 47-nation Geneva-based human rights body will be held later this year in New York. There will be 14 seats available for three-year terms beginning in January 2014.

From the so-called Asia group, which includes the Middle East and Asia, seven countries – China, Iran, Jordan, Maldives, Saudi Arabia, Syria and Vietnam – are vying for four seats, U.N. diplomats said on condition of anonymity.

One diplomat predicted that Syria and Iran would fail in their bids to join the U.N. rights watchdog when the 193-nation General Assembly votes in the fall, while another said the upcoming election would be a "comedy."

Hillel Neuer, the head of UN Watch, a Geneva-based advocacy group that monitors the work of the United Nations, said "countries that murder and torture their own people must not be allowed to become the world's judges on human rights.

Are dem thar black peoples beaten up on whitey?
Time to call in the Marines and give them some "BOOM" time!

SANFORD, Fla. — A woman who is six months pregnant was beaten about the head over the weekend, and Seminole County deputies said 12 people, ages 12 to 42, are responsible.

A Sheriff's Office news release detailed the attack, which happened outside a Sanford home on Daffodil Terrace, and the arrests of several teenagers said to be involved.

Ashley Flournoy suffered several injuries to her head in a fight with neighbors. The fight stemmed from an argument, officials said.

Deputies said one of the alleged assailants yelled the group "did not care that she was pregnant."

Officials said Flournoy's injuries are not life-threatening and that they likely did not affect the child she is carrying.

Flournoy's fiancé, Paul Brinkley, tried to intervene but was also struck during the attack, according to deputies. Flournoy's mother and sister, Susan and Terika Young, were also attacked.

Deputies said a 12-, 14-, 15- and 16-year-old were arrested in the altercation. WESH 2 News will not identify the minors involved in this case.

The four minors will have to stay in juvenile hall for the next 21 days.

Several adults, identified as Antoinette Ford, Harry Roberts, Lasheena Thomas, Quentin Herring, Javaress Barnes, Willie Jones, Arshala Ford and Jarvis Young, were also arrested.

Roberts said Flournoy was the aggressor.

Ex-Sanford Police Chief Says He Was Pressured By City Officials To Arrest Zimmerman Even Though He Already Cleared Him Of Any Wrongdoing

(CNN) – The George Zimmerman investigation was hijacked "in a number of ways" by outside forces, said the former police chief of Sanford, Florida.

Bill Lee, who testified Monday in Zimmerman's second-degree murder trial, told CNN's George Howell in an exclusive interview that he felt pressure from city officials to arrest Zimmerman to placate the public rather than as a matter of justice.

"It was (relayed) to me that they just wanted an arrest. They didn't care if it got dismissed later," he said. "You don't do that."

When Sanford police arrived on the scene on February 26, 2012, after Zimmerman fatally shot unarmed 17-year-old Trayvon Martin, they conducted a "sound" investigation, and the evidence provided no probable cause to arrest Zimmerman at the scene, he said.

It had nothing to do with Florida's controversial Stand Your Ground law, he said; from an investigative standpoint, it was purely a matter of self-defense.

Zimmerman told police he killed Martin after the teen attacked him. While the evidence at the time corroborated that claim, the ex-chief said, Lee's lead investigator made a recommendation that Zimmerman be charged with manslaughter.

It was a matter of protocol, Lee said. Arresting Zimmerman based on the evidence at hand would have been a violation of Zimmerman's Fourth Amendment rights, he said. Thus, the Sanford police presented a "capias request" to the state's attorney, asking that the prosecutor determine whether it was a "justifiable homicide," issue a warrant for arrest or present the case to a grand jury.

MSNBC's flagship program The Rachel Maddow Show hit another low in what has been a rough 2013, losing to HLN's Dr. Drew in Tuesday night's cable news ratings to take third place in the 9 p.m. time slot.

Maddow, host of the liberal network's highest-rated show, had just 744,000 viewers, behind Dr. Drew (753,000), who spent the hour discussing the George Zimmerman murder trial, and well behind usual time slot winner Sean Hannity (1,714,000) of the Fox News Channel.

Egypt: Christian Man Hacked To Death With Axes
By Mob Of Muslim Brotherhood Supporters

(Heathenistc, barbarous savages!)

CAIRO (AP) — With a mob of Muslim extremists on their tail, the Christian businessman and his nephew climbed up on the roof and ran for their lives, jumping from building to building in their southern Egyptian village. Finally they ran out of rooftops.

Forced back onto the street, they were overwhelmed by several dozen men. The attackers hacked them with axes and beat them with clubs and tree limbs, killing Emile Naseem, 41. The nephew survived with wounds to his shoulders and head and recounted the chase to The Associated Press.

The mob's rampage through the village of Nagaa Hassan, burning dozens of Christian houses and stabbing to death three other Christians as well, came two days after the military ousted Islamist President Mohammed Morsi from power. It was no coincidence the attackers focused on Naseem and his family: He was the village's most prominent campaigner calling for Morsi's removal.

Some Christians are paying the price for their activism against Morsi and his Islamist allies in a backlash over his ouster last week.

Since then, there has been a string of attacks on Christians in provinces that are strongholds of hard-liners. In the Sinai Peninsula, where militant groups run rampant, militants gunned down a priest in a drive-by shooting as he walked in a public market.

Faux Hero Of The Working Class POS Barack Hussein Obuma Hits Elitist-

President Obama this evening is at Washington's Jefferson Hotel chairing a cozy gathering of about two dozen really rich Democrats who have paid $32,400 apiece for this special moment.

Proceeds go to the Democratic National Committee and thus the Campaign to Make Congress Democratic in 2014 and Allow Obama to Rule by Fiat. At least, more by fiat than he is already ruling by fiat.

Obama raising nearly $1 million in an evening from just a few people is okay, of course, because it's for Democrats and therefore will help save the planet and so forth.

THE EVENT IS CLOSED PRESS.

Satellite Images Show Saudi Arabia Targeting Israel And Iran With Ballistic Missiles...

(Wahhabi Sand Flea Fanatics with ballistic missiles....
not exactly a comforting thought.  King Abadabadoo of Saudi Arabia repeatedly exhorted Obuma and his Clowns to launch military strikes against Iran's nuclear programme and "cut off the head of the snake" )

Via Telegraph:
http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/worldnews/middleeast/saudiarabia/10172463/Saudi-Arabia-targeting-Iran-and-Israel-with-ballistic-missiles.html

Saudi Arabia is targeting both Israel and Iran with powerful ballistic missiles, new satellite photography shown by military experts to The Telegraph suggests.

Images analysed by experts at IHS Jane's Intelligence Review has revealed a hitherto undisclosed surface-to-surface missile base deep in the Saudi desert, with capabilities for hitting both countries.

Analysts who examined the photos spotted two launch pads with markings pointing north-west towards Tel Aviv and north-east towards Tehran. They are designed for Saudi Arabia's arsenal of lorry-launched DF 3 missiles, which have a range of 1,500-2,500 miles and can carry a two-ton payload.

The base, believed to have been built within the last five years, gives an insight into Saudi strategic thinking at a time of heightened tensions in the Gulf.

While Saudi Arabia does not have formal diplomatic relations with Israel, it has long maintained discreet back channel communications as part of attempts to promote stability in the region.

The two countries also have a mutual enemy in Iran, though, which has long seen Saudi Arabia as a rival power in the Gulf. Experts fear that if Iran obtains a nuclear weapon, Saudi Arabia would seek to follow suit.

The missile base, which is at al-Watah, around 125 miles south-west of the Saudi capital, Riyadh, was discovered during a project by IHS Jane'sto update their assessment of Saudi Arabia's military capabilities.

It serves as both a training and launch facility, with the missiles stored in an underground silo built into a rocky hillside. To the north of the facility are two circle-shaped launch pads, both with compass-style markings showing the precise direction that the launchers should fire in.
