Come, Lord Jesus

Upward to the skies
I lift my head,
For I know my Lord Jesus
Rose from the dead.

He ascended
In clouds of the sky
To unite with His Father,
The Eternal Most High.

So too upon the clouds
He will return again;
With eager expectation
I wait until then.

Come, Lord Jesus,
Come to Your children here;
Reign upon the earth,
To our souls be near.

Come, Lord Jesus,
How we long for You;
You are the Source of love,
Of all good and true.

Come, Lord Jesus,
With might and glory;
Surely heaven and earth
Proclaim Your story:

Our devotion to You,

And as an eternal flame
In our hearts You burn,

JESUS FLAME OF LOVE



As the wind whistles
Through the barren trees,
As I pray in solitude
Before You on my knees,

I feel Your warmth
Here in the cold of morn;
Your presence I feel,
For I have been reborn.



How can I feel sunshine
When it is gray and cold?
How can my timid heart
Grow both strong and bold?

I can with You, Lord,
For Your Spirit reigns in me;
You have kissed me with warmth,
With life eternally.



Should the snow fall,
Should wintry winds blow,
The flame of Your eternal love
Is all I feel and know.

Fill me all the more, Jesus,
With Your holy flame;
My heart You transform, Lord,
Never to be the same.



I shall sing Your praises
Winter, fall, summer, spring;
You reign in all seasons,
You are the eternal King.

I rejoice that Your Spirit
Does my heart now fill;
Warmed with love I am,
For I live to do Your will.

THE HARVEST


Refreshed I am
Breathing the crisp fall air;
The leaves are vibrant,
The blue sky clear.

Though winter is nigh,
Life is at her peak;
In the glorious colors
I hear You speak:



Daughter, rejoice now,
For I am close to you;
Child, I am here
To guide all you do.

See the glory
Of the colors in the fall?
Does it not remind
That I am King of all?



Feel the cool air,
Feel the crisp breeze?
Hear the clapping
Of leaves on the trees?

Is not the world
Amidst a celebration?
Do you hear the song
Of all of creation?



So in this harvest
With Me now sing;
I am the Source
Of every good thing.

Yea, Lord, I delight
To celebrate the harvest;
You work all for good,
Indeed all for best.



I look forward to the day
I am Home with You;
All things You beautify,
All things You renew.

Praise You, O Jesus,
I feel You in fall air;
And in colors of the harvest
Your love shines clear.

Purposeful Pathway

Let both grow together until the harvest,
and at harvest time I will tell the reapers,
Gather the weeds first and bind them
in bundles to be burned, but gather
the wheat into my barn.

No matter what, I am with you,
No matter what, I am here;
No matter what happens, child,
Your Savior is near.

Should the mountains tumble,
Should the sea run dry,
Should the sun stop shining,
Should the birds no longer fly,



Should any of these happen,
I am still close to you;
No matter what happens,
Trust this to be true.

From My love, My child,
You can never flee;
For everything around you
Is sustained by Me.



So when the storms come,
When plans go awry,
When your heart is weary,
When you begin to cry,

I am still with you
Through all of these things;
I am here to help you,
Your King of kings.

Sun streams through trees,
The sky shines blue,
The birds sing in unison
A song of You.

All of the world
Seems to join in symphony;
In all of the world
Your love I see.

From the verdant grass
To the colorful flowers,
From the sunny days
To the rain showers,

From the mountain height
To the valley floor,
From the flowing stream
To the ocean shore,

I see Your love,
Lord Jesus, all around;
Surely in Your creation
Your love does abound.

Should I long for You
I need only open my eyes,
For there You are
In flowers and butterflies.

My life then
Is one with Nature's song;
Glory to Jesus
We sing all day long.

Yea, as the sun streams,
As the sky shines blue,
I join the entire world
In a song of You.

YOU WILL SAVE

When the rain seems to pour
Without ceasing on me,
When my eyes are dimmed,
Barely able to see,

When the depths threaten
To swallow my soul,
When the pit opens
To consume me whole,

There You are, my Lord,
Holding out Your hand;
You carry me gently
To the Promised Land.

Neither floodwaters nor depths
Can threaten my life;
I do not fear any challenge,
Any storm, any strife.

I praise You, Lord Jesus,
For lifting me high;
You heard my prayer,
You answered my cry.

So today and every day
I shall sing Your praise;
My Jesus, You save,
You inspire, You amaze.

So when depths threaten
To swallow my soul,

I know You will save,
You will redeem me,
And Your light, Your love,

MIRACLES

Wondrous event,
Supernatural sign,
Such is a miracle,
A symbol divine.

Many of these,
Lord, You did show
That Your divinity
Others would know.

Surely You walked upon
The Sea of Galilee,
You healed the sick
As many did see.

With a few fish and loaves
You fed the multitude;
You called to Lazarus,
And His life was renewed.

Open our eyes
To see Your miracles surround;
The wonder of You
Does surely abound.

Give us sight
That Heaven we may see;
Keep our eyes fixed
On You and eternity.

For miracle upon miracle
Lord Jesus, You show;
We need only to look,
And then we will know:

Each wondrous event,
Each supernatural sign,
Each miracle is of You,
Our Savior divine.

Thanksgiving and Praise

Thanksgiving and praise
Fill my heart;
To speak of Your works,
When can I start?

Too numerous to count,
Too glorious to say,
Such are Your deeds,
Such is Your way.



Above all and in all,
Indeed through all things,
You are my Creator,
My King of kings.

Without You, Lord,
Life itself would end;
You sustain and love me,
My God, my Friend.



So with thanksgiving
I enter now Your gates;
For You, You alone,
My heart celebrates.

I dance in Your courts
With praise and song;
I sing of Your glory
All day long.



I live by Your Word,
By all that You say;
You are Life, Love,
Truth and the Way.

Yea, thanksgiving and praise
Forever fill my heart;
Glory to You, O God,
How great Thou art.

MY NEW ROBE


God designed my new Robe
and it was given to me by my Lord
and Saviour Jesus Christ,
because of Calvary.
To receive my new Robe all I had to do
was accept Jesus into my heart.

That if thou shalt confess with
thy mouth the Lord Jesus,
and shalt believe in thine heart
that God hath raised him
from the dead, thou shalt be saved.
~ Romans 10:9 ~



My new Robe fits me perfectly
unless I become proud and self centered,
Then my new Robe gets too tight.
If I walk on by those around me with
my head high, my new Robe is too short.
When I walk humbly before my God
it fits me just right!



The shoulders in my new Robe
is large enough so I can help
my hurting friends
carry their heavy load.
The collar is made of
God's Grace and Mercy.
God don't treat us
as our sins deserve.

The LORD is gracious
and full of compassion;
slow to anger,and of great mercy.
~ Psalm 145:8 ~



The cuffs are small, there is no room
to hide hated, or hard feelings
toward my neighbors.
The pockets are huge, one pocket holds
my Love for My Lord and Saviour,
the other pocket holds love for
my Family and those I come
in contact with from day to day.



My new Robe has three buttons,
the buttons represent,
Faith, Hope and Charity.
I have to check my buttons often
so they don't get lost.
Love is to be like Christ!

And now abideth faith, hope, charity,
these three; but the greatest
of these is charity.
~ 1 Corinthians 13:13 ~



The lining in my new Robe
is made of God's forgiveness.
I have to keep it near at all times.
Jesus says, For if ye forgive men
their trespasses, your heavenly Father
will also forgive you:

But if ye forgive not men their trespasses,
neither will your Father forgive
your trespasses.
~ Matthew 6:14-15 ~



The belt of my new Robe represents,
God's kinda Love... God is Love!

And above all things have
fervent charity among yourselves:
for charity shall cover
the mulitude of sins.
~ 1 Peter 4:8 ~



The Material in my new Robe
is thick enough to keep me strong
when the storms of life beat upon me..
But not to thick that I won't feel the
presence of my Lord who guides
my life each and every day.



I like the color of my new Robe,
the color of Jesus' blood (RED)
I want my Robe to always reflect
the Love of Jesus to the world.
My Robe was especially made for me,
It is just my size.
I will need to wear it
all throughout my life..
It was made with Love.



No one can wear my Robe but me!
Let me tell you,
the best thing I ever did do..
I took off the old robe
and I put on the NEW!
Wear your new Robe daily
so others will always see
the Love of Christ in You!
When you reach the end of your rope
You will find the hem of His garment.
