What Love Means

Rainbow of promise
Circling the sky
Reminder of God's covenant
Dazzling the eye

Radiant colors
Prismatic, to shine
Inspiring the heart
With promises divine



Vibrant hues
Violet, scarlet, green
Indigo, yellow, blue
Sweet to be seen

Rejoice, my heart
In the sight I see
The rainbow of Promise
Encircling me



For God promised Noah
And all mankind
Again a worldwide flood
Earth would not find

Wondrous truth
Yes, glorious to know
God's love for me
The rainbow does show

ONE NAME



Jesus, sweet Jesus,
Your name sets us free;
We call on Your name,
We are Yours eternally.

One name under heaven
Holds our salvation,
One name to free us
From all condemnation.

What name is sweeter
Than that of our King?
What Name is lyrical
To make our hearts sing?

No other name
Is like the one You bear;
In the sound of Jesus
Sweet freedom rings clear.

All the nations
Will confess You are Lord;
Jesus, You are truth,
You are the incarnate Word.

Even winds and rains
Obey Your mighty name;
Healed are the sick,
The blind and the lame.

No lovelier name
Do we know than Yours;
Surely through Your name
Sweet mercy pours.

ALL YOU ARE JESUS


You are my meaning,
My life, my everything,
My joy, my song,
My salvation, my King,

My hope, my heart,
My Beloved for eternity,
My reason for living,
The beauty in all I see.

Jesus, You are all these,
And You are much more;
You are my passion, my love,
The One I adore.

You are in the music
Of the birds as they sing;
You are in the flowers
Of the radiant spring.

You are in the leaves
Of autumn as they fall;
You are in the mountains,

Safe In The Storm


When the storm clouds roll in,
When the raging winds blow,
When upon the windy gusts
The fallen leaves go -

I know I am safe,
For I am in Your arms;
Your strong embrace comforts,
It uplifts and it warms.

Jesus, You are with me
Both in sunshine and in rain;

In joy and in pain.

NO EYE HAS SEEN

Treasures I have for you, My child,
Come now and listen to Me;
I shall share about your home,
Your place in eternity.

No eye has seen, no ear has heard,
No human mind has conceived
Things God has prepared for those
Who love Him and have believed.



Do you see the sun shining above?
Lovelier is the heavenly light,
For I am the Sun in heaven
There is only day, no more night.

Do you smell the flowers
Wonderfully fragrant in their bloom?
Yet sweeter is the aroma of heaven
Ever your heart to consume.



Do you taste the fruit of harvest,
How sweet to enjoy its yield?
Yet far sweeter to taste heaven,
The fruit of the Elysium field.

Though your eyes cannot see it,
Though your ears cannot hear,
Know that heaven will be yours,
Indeed your home is near.



Nothing can separate us,

When my heart is heavy,
When tears my vision blur,
When fear and weariness
In my heart does stir,

I need only lift my head,
Looking up to the skies,
For there I see You
And Your radiant eyes.

I LOVED YOU FROM THE START

My daughter, I love you,
May you feel this in your heart;
My child, I adore you,
As I have from the start.

Before the foundation of earth,
Before the filling of the sea,
Before the setting of the sky,
You were loved by Me.



Before the stars shone above,
Before the sun lit the sky,
Before the moon glowed,
You sparkled in My eye.

Yes, I saw you before these,
Before all of creation;
I saw the day of your birth,
A day of celebration.



Let Me fill you with love,
Let me kiss you with grace,
Let me hold your hand,
Let me shine upon your face.

Rejoice in the truth

YOUR PRESENCE JESUS

Your presence is with me,
This, Lord, I know;
You presence is with me,

Though I cannot see You,
I feel You are here;

The clouds may darken,

~Veteran's Day Prayer~

A prayer solemn
We offer today;
It is for Veterans
We now pray.

Selfless, sacrificial,
Risking death gallantly
Soldiers do all this
To ensure we are free.

So many have died
There on the battleground;
No music then to comfort,
Simply gun blasts all around.

So many names and faces
That I will never know;
So many stories of bravery
In warring winds did blow.

Grateful am I to these
Men and Women brave -
To think of all they did,
All they risked, all they gave.

Extend this heartfelt prayer
I will, to reach their ears;
How treasured they are to me,
Marching onward despite fears.

And for those who have passed,
May God bless them lavishly
These very ones who died
So that we would live free.

In the stories of Veterans
We see a shadow of the Cross
Christ died to set us free,
Our gain was through His loss.

Gratefully we praise these heroes,
Often silent and unknown.
And we remember Christ's blood
From which eternal life has grown.

CHILD OF GOD

A child of God
Forever I am,
Not by my own doing
But by blood of the Lamb.

Praise be to Jesus
For setting me free;
His inheritance in heaven
He shares with me.



Who can explain this?
Who can understand?
Behold His thorny crown,
His pierced hand -

That I may know Him
Jesus suffered these;
Only His sacrifice
Could the Father please.



His Cross is the bridge
To my home above;
The stairway of heaven
Is paved with His love.

I am His daughter,
Yea, I am His child;
May I be like my Father,
Holy, pure and mild.



I live for my Jesus,
I praise Him forevermore;
I offer all to Him,
The One I adore.

For not by my doing,
But by blood of the Lamb,
A child of God
Forever I am.
