The Lord is my Rock,
Whom then shall I fear?
The Lord is my fortress,
To me He is near.

Should the waves fury,
Should raging winds blow,
I fear not one thing,
For God's refuge I know.

He delivers my soul,
Protects in time of need,
He provides lavishly,
My soul He does feed.

Glory to God!
You are my Rock, my Shield.
Glory to God!
All things to You I yield.

I shall sing Your praises
Today and all my tomorrows;
You take me under Your wing,
You bear all my sorrows.

Who is like You, O Lord?
Who gives perfect peace?
You are the Alpha and Omega,
To You all I release.

Yea, I trust You, my Jesus,
Your mercy encompasses me;
I rejoice in Your love,
I live to bring You glory.

With my brothers and sisters,
I shall sing Your praise;
We adore You, O Lord,
To You our hearts we raise.

You deliver our souls,
You fill our every need,
You lavish us with love,
With Bread of Life You feed.

Ever more in love with You
Surely we do grow;
We fear not one thing,
For Your refuge we know.

The Lord is our Rock,
Whom then shall we fear?
Jesus, we trust in You,
To us stay always near.

The Lord is my rock, and my fortress,
and my deliverer; my God, my strength,
in whom I will trust; my buckler,
and the horn of my salvation,
and my high tower.
Psalm 18:2 (KJV)

Today, I want to make a difference.

'Cast your Cares'

Is your heart burdened?
Do you shed another tear?
Are you heavy with worry,
With sorrow or fear?

Cast your cares on the Lord,
And He will sustain you;
Cast your cares on the Lord,
Your hope He will renew.

Is the Lord's ear too heavy
To hear you when you call?
Is His arm too short
To lift you when you fall?

Surely the Lord God
Is mighty to save;
He can restore all things,
Even from depths of the grave.

How He loves you,
Your burden He longs to bear;
So upon His precious shoulder
Go and cast your care.

His ear delights
To hear you when you call;
His arm He stretches
To lift you when you fall.

Cast your cares on the Lord,
And He will sustain you;
Cast your cares on the Lord,
Your hope He will renew.

Sing now with joy,
For you have nothing to fear;
You are in Jesus' arms,
You have cast your care.

Cast your cares on the Lord
and he will sustain you;
he will never let
the righteous be shaken.

I am with you, child,
Lo, I am always here;
I am with you, child,
I am always near.

Worry not a moment
When the storms do rage;
For I am with you, child,
Your fears I will assuage.

Should the wind blow,
Should the thunder roar,
Should the clouds darken,
Should the rain pour

Should any of these
Seem to threaten you,
Look up to Me, My child,
Yes, this you must do.

Come now, little one,
I will carry you day by day;
Stay here in My arms,
I will kiss your tears away.

Should the wind blow,
Should the thunder roar,
Should the clouds darken,
Should the rain pour

I am with you, child,
When the storms do rage;
Rest in my peace,
I reign from age to age.

Yes, I am with you,
Your Jesus is always near;
I am with you, child,
I am always here.

'Who Am I'

The glory of the sun
Warms the earth in brilliance;
The powerful winds
Make the leaves to dance.

The stars are as diamonds
Sparkling in the night;
The moon reveals the seasons,
In the darkness a light.

Obey the rhythm of the tide
Do the oceans vast;
All of nature sings of You,
Almighty First and Last.

Who am I, my Lord,
That You should think of me?
I am a mere mortal,
You have reigned eternally.

All of my days, my Lord,
I shall sing of You;
Who am I, Jesus,
That my heart You renew?

I shall obey Your ways
As do the oceans vast;
With nature I sing of You,
Almighty First and Last.

Jesus, You are a Diamond,
Sparkling in the night;
You are my Compass, my Guide,
In the darkness a Light.

Your glory, O Son,
Warms my soul in brilliance;
The power of Your love
Makes my heart to dance.

When I consider your heavens,
the work of your fingers,
the moon and the stars,
which you have set in place,
what is man that you are mindful of him,
the son of man that you care for him?

My refuge and my fortress,
My rock and shield,
My God, in whom I trust,
To You, Lord, I yield.

You are my strength,
The song of my salvation;
You are my life,
The Author of creation.

You are my joy,
The symphony of my heart;
You are my love,
From You I will never part.

I will sing Your praises
Before one, before all;
You love stretches higher
Than the mountains tall.

Indeed my very life
For You, Lord, is a song;
I sing of my King
Ever mighty, always strong.

To speak of Your greatness,
Where can I start?
Your mercies are innumerable,
Flowing to fill my heart.

For You, O Lord, I sing,
You are my salvation;
You are my life, my love,
The Author of creation.

My God, in whom I trust,
To You, Lord, I yield;
You are my refuge and fortress,
My rock and my shield.

Sing To God

Sing to God, sing to God,
You kingdoms of the earth,
Sing praise to the Lord,
Lift your hearts in mirth.

Mighty is the Lord God
Who reigns forever above;
Let us sing of His mercy,
Let us sing of His love.

Our refuge and our rock
Is the Almighty Lord;
He renews with His Spirit,
Nourishes with His Word.

Let us lift our voices then
In song and celebration;
Sing to God, all the earth,
Sing of His salvation.

Taller than the mountain,
Wider than the sea,
Is the love of our Jesus,
He loves infinitely.

Our refuge and our rock
You are, Almighty Lord;
Fill us with Your Spirit,
Revive us with Your Word.

Our eyes we keep fixed
On Your throne above;
We live for Your glory,
For You, Lord, we love.

Everything You are,
You are our hope and rebirth;
So we sing to God, we sing to God,
We sing with all the earth.

Thy Word is a Lamp

Precious Lord Jesus,
The Son of the skies,
Radiant You are before me,
Dazzling to my eyes.

Surely Your light shines
Throughout all eternity.
I praise You, O Beloved,
Your light embraces me.

Embodiment of the Word,
My Jesus, You are;
Radiating truth,
My bright Morning Star.

A light for my path,
A lamp unto my feet,
Your Word is my guide
To my heart ever sweet.

Yea, sweeter than honey,
Far more precious than gold,
Is Your Word of truth
Of eternity old.

How I love You, my Lord,
My heart beats only for You;
Your Word revives me,
My spirit You renew.

A light for my path,
A lamp unto my feet,
Jesus, You are my guide,
In You I am complete.

Radiant as the sun,
In the skies I see You shine,
Guide me with truth,
Warm me with light divine.

My heart is Your dwelling,
Come abide with me;
Fill me with Your Spirit,
I am Yours eternally.

Fashion this dwelling,
My Lord, as You see fit;
The center is the Throne
Upon which You shall sit.

Lay a foundation of humility,
Erect the beams of trust;
Rid my heart of worries,
From the cobwebs and the rust.

Open the windows
To Your eternal truth and light;
Grant that it is brilliant
Dawn of day or dark of night.

Warm this dwelling
With the fire of Your love;
Decorate it with virtues,
Shining treasures from above.

May Your peace reign
In the waterfalls that flow;
May Your joy abide
In the flowers as they grow.

How I love You, Lord,
Transform me to fit Your desire;
My heart is Your dwelling,
Your flame of love its fire.

Yea, my heart is Your dwelling,
Forever abide with me;
Fill me with Your Spirit,
I am Yours eternally.

Peace, sweet peace,
I feel it envelop me;
Peace, sweet peace,
A kiss from You to me.

Flowing freely
From Your heart to mine;
Peace, sweet peace,
Your gift divine.

Dancing in the clouds,
Falling in the rain,
This sweet peace flowing
Melts away the pain.

Singing in the sparrows,
Twirling in the leaves,
Sweet peace surrounds
Him who believes.

His presence is peace,
He calms every storm;
In His strong arms
I am both safe and warm.

His beautiful smile,
The sparkle in His eye
Melt away all fears,
Relieve every sigh.

Jesus, I embrace
The sweet peace You give;
It is for Your glory
This life I live.

O, Your sweet peace,
I feel it envelop me;
Peace, sweet peace,
A kiss from You to me.

Lord, with You I commune,
Silent and still;
I calm my heart
To be one with Your will.

When amidst the day
Your voice I no longer hear,
I pause to still my soul
To sense You are near.

For You visit those
Who long to know You;
You whisper in their hearts,
Their spirits You renew.

To kiss the humble heart,
You descend from Your throne;
Nothing You withhold,
For we are Your own.

Grant, O Jesus,
That I may be more like You;
Fill me with Your Spirit,
Inspire all I say and do.

Should I grow distracted,
Draw me close to Your heart;
Remind me of Your love,
How we will never part.

Let Your whispers stir my heart,
As my spirit You renew;
I live to bring You glory,
Lord, I live to love You.

I give You my heart,
I am an instrument of Your will;
Lord, with You I commune,
Silent and still.
