GARDEN OF THE HEART

"And why do you worry about clothes?
See how the lilies of the field grow.
They do not labor or spin."
Matthew 6:28

Whispering winds
Speaking Your Word
In the breeze
Truth can be heard

For You created winds
You created the earth
The stars, the oceans
You caused their birth

Nature glorifies You
By keeping Your Way
The winds and the birds
Keep the commands You say

And what about me?
What about the life I live?
Do I glorify You
Adhering to laws You give?

May my heart ever be
One with Your Word
May my song be one
With the wind and bird

May I search Your Truth
May I follow Your Way
May I cling to Christ
All this I do pray

May my voice lift high
With my heart as I sing
It is the LORD who creates
And good gifts He does bring

The winds do not worry
The birds do not toil
The flowers do not struggle
Breaking forth from the soil

This life of ease
Of beauty and of peace
This is life we experience
When to You all we release

For the Life of Eden
Awaits us this moment now
Sweet fellowship with You
Children in Christ You allow

Walking closely with you
In the Garden each day
I experience Your Presence
As I sing and as I pray

My God is my Father
My best Friend too
He fills my heart with love
And reveals all that is true

I raise my arms then
And lift my voice in song
With the flowers and the birds
Yes, this is where I belong

We join to sing praises
To our God on High
His treasures He shares
And His heart to us is nigh

Yes, the whispering winds
Speak Your precious Word
And in the gentle breezes
Your Truth can be heard

LOOK TO HIM

I know that the Bible says
When You've done all to stand, then stand
I know that it's hard sometimes
to look through those tear stained eyes
and still see those scars in His hands
but just you keep this in mind,
when hope seems so hard to find
surely you've not reached the end
when this whole world has let you down
Jesus can still be found
When you've tried it all
Look to Him

Look to Him, and Him only
when sorrows make you lonely
when all the days and the night closes in
He can vanish the midnight
and call back the sunlight
So how will it end
Look to Him

I know that questions can
Lord they can get so hard to understand,
yeagh but then
I know someone who knows it all
You know His eyes see the sparrow fall
Yet He holds back the sea with just one hand
He's so big He rides on the wind that blows
and in your heart He's the only one that knows
the heartache and all the trouble that you're in
So when life seems everything but good
Just look to Him, He's the one who could
when you've tried it all
Look to Him

Look to Him, and Him only
when sorrows make you so lonely
when all the days and the night closes in
He can vanish the midnight
and call back the sunlight
So how will it end
Look to Him
So how will it end
Look to Him

June Is Blooming

Pretty, pretty June is here
A time to celebrate
Weddings, graduations, parties
All summer's special dates

Let's enjoy our month of June
Each treasured memory
Picnics, barbecues with friends
And precious family

Resting in the sunshine
Lifting praises to our Lord on high
Hearts leaping with the joy
As we breathe a thankful sigh

For all is well, the summer's nigh
And God is on His throne
The middle of the year is here
And love is all we know

And if you listen on the summer breeze,
I know that you will find..
Something very special,
of God's own heart divine,
The beauty of abundant love,
eternally is thine.

WE SHALL SEE JESUS

Once on a hillside, people were gathered
Hoping to see Him, as thousands were fed
He touched the blind eyes, healed broken spirits
Moved with compassion, He raised up the dead

As angels hovered, heaven was silent
Watching as Jesus was crucified
No one showed mercy
To the one who had healed them
Yet, Jesus loved them
As He suffered and died

No longer silent, angels proclaimed it
Jesus was risen and soon would ascend
And then as HE blessed them
He rose up to heaven
Gave them this promise, to come back again

We shall see Jesus, just as they saw Him
There is no greater promise than this
When He returns in power and glory
We shall see Jesus, just as He is

We shall see Jesus, just as they saw Him
There is no greater promise than this
When He returns in power and glory
We shall see Jesus, just as He is

We shall see Jesus, just as He is

STAIRWAY TO HEAVEN

Your hand reaches out
Tenderly to guide;
You, my Jesus,
Remain by my side.

How can this be,
That You care so for me?
How can this be,
That I am Yours eternally?

Surely it is by Your love,
Surely it is by Your grace.
How blessed am I
To feel Your embrace.

No touch more tender
Than that of Your hand,
No Way more lovely
Than to Your Promised Land.

Follow You I shall, Lord,
Wherever You do lead;
Your soothing voice I vow
Forever to heed.

Your way is adorned
With peace, joy and love;
Yea, Your lovely way leads
To Heaven above.

Step by step,
You lead up the stairway,
Step by step I follow
Each moment, each day.

Higher and higher
Upon these steps we go.
Mercy upon mercy
To me You ever show.

As the birds soar 'round,
I feel that I can fly;
Peering from this staircase
Ever so high.

And when I stumble,
You lift me gently;
Such tender compassion
In Your eyes I see.

Far sweeter You are
Than all else I know;
Most lovely is the way
You lead me to go.

My spirit rejoices
In this heavenly journey;
Indeed my heart delights
In all that surrounds me.

I love You, my Guide,
Humbled I am by all You do.
You are my All in all,
Yea, I live for You.

I delight in Your love,
I rejoice in Your grace.
I bask in the warmth
Of Your soft embrace.

How can this be,
That You care so for me?
Lord, I give myself to You,
I am Yours eternally.

And onward to Heaven
Tenderly You guide;
Holding Your hand, Jesus,
I cling to Your side

THE LOVE OF GOD

The love of God is greater far
Than tongue or pen can ever tell
It goes beyond that highest star
And reaches to that lowest hell

Oh, love of God, how so rich and pure
How measureless and strong
It shall forever evermore endure
The saints' and angels' the angel's song

Praise God, Thank you Jesus....
Thank You Jesus....
Praise You, Praise You...
Thank you Lord, Thank You

Could we with ink the ocean fill
And were the sky of parchment made
Were every stalk on earth a quill
And every man a scribe by trade

Oh, love of God, how rich how pure
How measureless and strong
It shall forever evermore endure
The saints' and angels' the angel's song

Oh, love of God, how so rich, how so pure
How measureless and strong
It shall forever evermore endure
The saints' and angels' the angel's song

The saints' and angels' the angel's song
It shall forevermore endure
The saints' and angels' the angel's song

ONLY JESUS

The world will try to satisfy
That longing in your soul
You may search this wide world over
But you'll be just as before
You'll never find true satisfaction
Until you've found the Lord
Only Jesus can satisfy your soul

Only Jesus can satisfy your soul
And only He can change your heart
And make you whole
He'll give you peace O' you never knew
Sweet love and joy and Heaven, too
For only Jesus can satisfy your soul

You know I lived a long time in this world
And I know that If you could have fame and fortune
And all the wealth you could attain
Yet, if you not have Christ within you
Your living will be in vain
You see, there'll come a time
When death will call you
Riches and fame cannot help you then
For Only Jesus, can satisfy your soul

Only Jesus can satisfy your soul....

Only He can change your life
And make you whole
He'll give you peace O' you never knew
Sweet love and joy and Heaven, too
Only Jesus can satisfy your soul-
Only Jesus can satisfy your soul

Lord, I need you, more than I need anything

Lord I need you, more than I need the sunshine
Lord I need you, more than I need the rain
Lord I need you, more than I need the morning
Lord I need you, more than I need anything

When I'm thirsty, You are my living water
When I'm hungry, You are my living bread
When I'm tired, You are my rest Lord
And on You, I can lay my weary head

Lord I need you, more than I need the sunshine
Lord I need you, more than I need the rain
Lord I need you, more than I need the morning
Lord I need you, more than I need anything

Lord You're my light, when I walk through those dark valleys
I've come to know that Your joy, is my only strength
I found out that You are a sure foundation
You're my Redeemer, my Saviour, my friend

You're my light in all of my valleys
Your joy has become my only strength
Yes You are, You are my foundation
My Redeemer, my Saviour, my friend

Lord I need you, more than I need the sunshine
Lord I need you, more than I need the rain
Lord I need you more than I need the morning
Lord I need you, more than I need anything

Lord I need you, more than I need the sunshine
Lord I need you, more than I need the rain
Lord I need you, more than I need the morning
Lord I need you, more than I need anything

THE NIGHTWATCH

God's keeping the night watch for you and for me....

Bright stars are watching the world as it sleeps
Shepherds watch over the little white sheep
The lighthouse is shining for ships far at sea
As God keeps the night watch for you and for me

So sleep, sleep in peace and rest
Don't be afraid of the darkness
All's well for over the land and the sea
God's keeping the night watch for you and for me

God's keeping the night watch for you and for me....

So sleep, sleep in peace and rest
Don't be afraid of the darkness
All's well for over the land and the sea
God's keeping the night watch for you and for me

OH GENTLE SHEPHERD

My soul is lost, so lonely and so cold
Just like a lamb that has strayed from the fold
Across the barren waste of sin I roam
Oh, gentle shepherd hear my cry and lead me home.

The hours go by on frightened wings of flight
While wolves of hell are waiting for the night
To claim the soul that wandered from the fold
Oh, gentle shepherd hear my cry and save my soul.

Oh, gentle shepherd hear my lonely cry
And in Thy cool green pastures let me lie
Beside the still clear waters lead Thou me
Oh, gentle shepherd safe forevermore with Thee.
