Carl A. Conners, 84, died November 19, 2011 at Via Christi Medical Center, St. Francis campus in Wichita, Kansas.  He was born October 18, 1927 at Moline, Kansas, the son of Joe and Gertrude Agnes Brogan Conners.

A longtime Kingman, Kansas resident, Carl was a retired oil industry employee.  He was a member of the St. Patrick Catholic Church, the Knights of Columbus, and the VFW, all in Kingman.  He was an avid bridge player, golfer, and traveler and was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II.

On April 21, 1952, he maried Rhua Ann Welday at Shawnee, Oklahoma.

Survivors include a son, Mike; a brother, Ray; and a sister, Connie.  He was preceded in death by his wife on May 23, 2008 and by a sister, Josephine McGaffin.

Parish rosary will be at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, November 23, 2011 at the St. Patrick Catholic Church in Kingman, Kansas followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 a.m.  Burial will be in the Walnut Hill Cemetery in Kingman.

Memorials may be made with the St. Patrick Church Building Fund, the Nu 2 U Shop, and the Wheatlands Thrift Shop, all in care of Livingston Funeral Home, 1830 N. Main, Kingman, Kansas 67068.
