Didn't like the format the time allowed was too short for anyone to give a substantive answer. Biased in favor of Romney and Perry. Barely had a chance to hear from anyone else. Bachmann should have watched the Kennedy\Nixon debates she looked tired and bored. Gingrich did a good job and seemed most comfortable. Paul was correct, "why didn't you ask me the question on healthcare?). He had a bit of a angry frustrated tone that I don't think will play well. Paul was ignored so maybe his tone was justified. Didn't get much out of it due to the format. Still it was worth watching. I don't think this debate will move anyone up or down in the polls.

Yes, the time allotments should have been longer.  I noticed after the talk about Social Security, nobody yet has said anything about the Gov't raids on it and the lack of plans to pay back the IOUs.

Thank you so much David for posting this, we do not have MSNBC on our cable system, and my internet connection is just not fast enough to handle a live feed with much success. I do have to agree with your final analysis however. I think that Newt Gingrich looked every bit as good as he did back in the day 25 or so years ago. There was no fumbling that like we saw in the previous debate. I have to really think that this was a showcase for Rick Perry, he seems to be the 'golden boy' for the repubs right now. I kind of felt sorry for Ron Paul; he has a message and nowhere to say it. I was surprised that he did not stress getting out of those two wars like he did the last debate. Gonna be interesting!!  8) 8)

Getting out of the wars was the issue that separated him from the other candidates.  Now that everyone is jumping on the bandwagon, Its time for Paul to start to talk about the other things that make him different.

Agreed! It is time for him to stand apart from the crowd, not behave as though he might just offend someone. I believe that is called the courage of your convictions. Several of us know what that is sadly.  :P

And both repubs and demo's won't as both parties are guilty of raping it.
