I feel sorry for whomever wants to win next time. They better be ready to produce their family Bible back to 1740, their sterling report cards back to Kindergarten ,employment records back to their first kid job, a criminal back ground check back to when they were still in diapers, a list of their older relatives and in laws that may have no blemish back to 1492.
Then  there must be a list of brothers and sisters who must also have also always been perfect and an accurate list of personal friends ,acquaintances, other friends' birthday party guests, casual seatmates at the movies for the last 30 years, who shared a restaurant at the same time, what kind of food they ate and every book they ever read, movie or show they ever watched and be able to defend their having done so. Someone will be out there professionally with the insults and innuendo to use it against them.

Yeah, Perry looks better than Obama for sure.  However, we need better choices than those two.

Perry is Republican and he's most probably a Keynesian too.  As far as I can see, he's no conservative.

Herman Cain is an idiot.  I wouldn't vote for anyone who doesnt have a basic grasp of the constitution.

That doesn't make the man an idiot, just uninformed. People can learn, and I bet most of the other candidates are in the same boat as Herman. Except for Ron Paul, and even though he could probably recite the Constitution in his sleep, he's not conservative enough for me.

Perry and Romney are experts at working the political "machine". I'm not sure I like that, on the other hand, that's probably what you need to get elected.

Perry is a Bush creation.  Perry has done nothing in Texas which required conservative principles and leadership. He is a western version of the blue bloods in Manhattan.

I was a Republican (at the time) who couldn't vote for 'ol dubya. I couldn't get past that silver spoon hanging out of his mouth. How was he gonna relate to me? I am so fed up with politics as usual. :P

I can't figure out what's going on and don't trust what any of them say any more. So much is campaign rhetoric that means nothing after the election anyway. The down right lies that are told every day should blister their tongues, but their rules seem to allow it. How is the voter supposed to know who and what to discount. What is really truthful, or just wishful and can't be accomplished in any case.

Ron Paul just scored me 192 points for a 92 point investment in shares on Intrade because he lost to Bachmann in the Iowa straw poll. Liked him in last Presidential race now I like him even more for stimulating my economy. It is way too early to commit to who I will vote for as the Republican nominee, but Ron Paul has my carry over from the last Republican Presidential Primary, and the fact he made me 100 points on Intrade.

I think its funny that all these people are now jumping on the Paul bandwagon only 2 years after writing him off as a wacho because of his views on 9/11, the war on terror, and the wars around the world.  You all supported Bush and the neocons in their war-mongering, and Paul spoke out.  Now that you're all backing Ron Paul, are you admitting that he was right all along and you were wrong?

Anmar, don't underestimate the carry over Ron Paul has from the last Presidential Race. I know Democrats, Independents, and Republicans, that Ron Paul's message resonates with their political beliefs. They just got derailed when it turned out to be McCain vs. Obama. Rommney is too Morman\Democratic, Rick Perry is too Evangelical\and Texan after Bush to be elected President. My opinion may change but right now I am sticking with Ron Paul for my vote.  If Warph and Slappy decide to run, which I doubt, despite my efforts to entice them, I will drop Ron Paul in a second. :D
