I thought that in order to convey a an intended action as non-literal one would say 'figuratively'.  'Virtually' seems only to modify the communication of the threat so as to indicate you one might leave a portion of the jewelry uneaten (or at least still intact).

Jar, I don't know either, but because of the obsession, uh, interest in the Civil War I thought male....unless it's "Pat'. Remember Pat from SNL?  Patriot I've got so many come backs  to you I can't even choose one so I'll decline.. well ,oh heck, why not. I didn't say  non literal now did I? As to ''virtually unknown",haven't measured 'em yet so I don't know whether to expect a tiny snack or enough for leftovers. I'll decline further. It's Cat's turn.

nope,  I definitely don't believe in the keynes model.  Stimulation of the economy is not the responsibility of the government.  There are natural up and down cycles and the best way to get out of the down cycle is to allow inefficiencies to fail, and new institutions that are superior should take their place.  This allows individuals a chance to overcome barriers of entry into the marketplace. 

I said let them fail back when ole obama was "stimulating" the economy.  The true definition of his stimulous bill was to give his buddies a hard on with all the money he funneled into their pockets. Thats the only thing that got stimulated.
