SHOCKER!! Snopres Lied!~~

".... In our Search for the truth...   .....department, we find what I have suspected on many occasions. I went to Snopes to check this out and they said it was false and there were no such dockets so I 'Googled' the Supreme Court, typed in 'Obama-Kagan,'  and guess what? Yep you got it. Snopes lied.Everyone of those dockets are there.

So Here is what I wrote Snopes:
     Referencing the article about Elena Kagan and Barak Obama dockets: The information you have posted stating that there were no such cases as claimed and the examples you gave are blatantly false. I went directly to the Supreme Court's website, typed in Obama Kagan and immediately came up with all of the dockets that the article made reference to  I have long suspected that you really slant things and twist the truth..but this was really shocking.
    Thank You, I hope you will be much more truthful in the future.

Kagan was representing Obama in all the petitions to prove his citizenship. Now she may help rule on them.

         Well, someone figured out why Obama nominated Elana Kagan for the Supreme Court.... Pull up the Supreme Courts website, go to the docket and search for Obama.

She was the Solicitor General for all the suits against him filed with the Supreme Court to show proof of natural born citizenship. He owed her big time. All of the requests were denied of course. They were never heard. It just keeps getting deeper and deeper, doesn't it? The American people mean nothing any longer. It's all about payback time for those who compromised themselves to elect someone that really has no true right to even be there.

I knew that there was a big connection between Obama-Kagan when her hearings were going on.... if fact I mentioned this in one of my post.  Charles Krauthammer mentioned the connection at the time where I got my info.  Her nomination for SCOTUS WAS ALL PAYBACK for hiding his personal info.  Looks like she did a good job of it.  Snopes sucks!

I don't understand why any of you are so surprised. Sitting presidents can appoint judges, and it is often pay for favors, nothing new there, but she went through days of questions by a mixed congressional bag before she was affirmed. Why didn't this come out then if it was so easy to find? It's all politics and is the murkiest and ugliest I've seen in years ,and I mean on all sides!

Teresa--I think it would've gotten your point across better had you taken the time to "proof read" your title, so everyone would know that you were talking about SNOPES and not some Mexican version of SNOPRES. One could bother to point out had you read the cases involved that not a single one involved presidential eligibility.  In fact the gross majority involve civil rights issues regarding Guantanamo Bay prisoners.  Therefore Snopes didn't lie, the idiots searching on SCOTUS webpage didn't bother to read the actual case information.

I see the point that you are trying to make but that isn't relevant to the point made in the OP.  The point the OP made was that Snopes lied regarding whether Kagan represented Obama as President of the US in SCOTUS on eligibility cases.  She has not.  I personally don't see what the big deal would be if she had, she is the solicitor general, that's her job represent the government and the major figures in government.

Finally, I'm sure Kagan will at some point render her vote in a decision or refuse a petition to be heard as is her right as a sitting justice on a case of eligibility.  I'm not sure what grounds she would state to recuse herself since theoretically every person who voted for him would have to recuse themselves in the same circumstances and that's just ridiculous.  Any justice appointed by a President has the right to render decision on cases presented to them minus ones where they own or are invested in a corporation of interest, were previous counsel on such a case, etc.

For your information Smarty Britches... SNO'PRES is much more exotic and exciting sounding than just plain old SNOPES..
