AGAIN~~ President Obama’s “quote” from the Declaration of Independence

Granted he, BHO, didn't exactly say, "I'm quoting the Declaration of Independence" but most people recognize this phrase.

At first blush, that seems like a fine statement about what makes America exceptional. But look at President Obama's "quote"
from the Declaration of Independence again. Here is what the Declaration actually says: "We hold these truths to be
self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that
among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness."




Now some of you may not believe in a creator God.   But regardless, you should be appalled at the blatant attempt to re-write historical documents as BHO see fit.   And this wasn't a mere slip from Mr-I-don't-speak-without-my-teleprompter as he's read the same "quote"  on several occasions.

It seems that this is the third (or fourth) time he has deliberately ( conveniently) missed the 'by their Creator" part!  Now  ..personally.. ~  .............this should be a HUGE concern to Americans everywhere. It once again screams from the rooftops what and where this so called "American"  ::) President is coming from.  Either quote the Declaration of Independence correctly or not quote it at all ! >:(

Definition: To describe something as "Orwellian" is to say that it brings to mind the fictional totalitarian society of Oceania described in George Orwell's novel Nineteen Eighty-Four.

In Orwell's novel, all citizens of Oceania are monitored by cameras, are fed fabricated news stories by the government, are forced to worship a mythical government leader called Big Brother, are indoctrinated to believe nonsense statements (the mantra "WAR IS PEACE, SLAVERY IS FREEDOM, IGNORANCE IS STRENGTH"), and are subject to torture and execution if they question the order of things.

The word is sometimes used to describe a particularly anti-libertarian government policy, but it is also sometimes used to describe the peculiar, nonsensical thought process behind Oceania's social structure--a thought process in which ideas that are obviously self-contradictory are accepted as true based on the fact that an authority figure is asserting them.

The Bush administration's No Child Left Behind program (which is unfunded and therefore technically leaves children behind) and Clear Skies Initiative (which weakens anti-pollution regulations and therefore technically makes skies less clear) are often cited as examples of Orwellian policies, but so are London's omnipresent surveillance cameras and North Korea's patriotism indoctrination camps.

A thought came to me today:  I wonder what Obama is going to do once he is out of office.  Will he continue to work his agenda?  I don't know enough about politics to have an intelligent discussion of this topic.  But I do believe he will be setting up a phony front and behind the scenes he will work toward the destruction of the US as an independant nation.  Funding compliments of Saudi Arabia or others.

Aside from writing books as so many past presidents have done, I think he'll become the president of a University for a while, sit on some boards as director of something or other and then run his own foundation.

Well~ He's too much of an ego narcissist to back out of the spotlight.  I don't know who all is pulling his strings now..but I wonder if they will continue to fund him and use him for their mission.
It'll be interesting. ..although I don't actually care what happens to him or his affiliates.. They can fall off the ends of the world never to be seen from again and it would suit me just fine.

What makes y'all think he ever plans on being out of office ? If he does I would imagine that he will move into George Soros's guest house and keep ol George's shoes spit shined, (paybacks are hell )

Great Post, Teresa.  Excuse my "Big Wall Of Text" but....

Classless and godless, Voter X:  It seems as if this Clown cannot stand to utter any words he thinks might acknowledge a power higher than himself.  As I read various current  articles on Obuma, I keep wondering if those that voted for this Clown will spend any time in self reflection asking themselves why they were so easily led to the slaughter.  Why did they tune out or disparage all questioning of Obuma's past and the gaping hole of the lack of information about his past.  How is it that they turned a deaf ear or blind eye to the fact that for two decades he "worshiped" under the hate-filled Jeremiah Wright?  Does it not bother the masses that electing Obuma, how shallow their values have become, that all it took to sway them was his appearance and mindless, cheer leading chant of "hope and change"?   We have a battle between Truth and lies, deceit, fraud.  Deceit, by definition, takes portions of the truth and then distorts them, so that confusion ensues.  Most of us here remember with chagrin how many, many otherwise "intelligent" people succumbed to the razzle-dazzle of Obuma during the 2008 campaign.  One cringes with disgust in knowing that the Left MUST have an ignorant, pliable mass of people, the "motley rabble" as Nietzsche called them.  If Obuma, the "Constitutional scholar," can continue "mis-stating" documents, facts, truth, the "unquestioning" among us will soon be indoctrinated.  Sadly, hate to generalize, but... these people do not think, do not reason; they react emotionally, and emotions are easily roused.  

Obuma may be an empty-suit, with empty promises and an hollow rattling off of his mind-numbing tripe from a teleprompter... but he is not ignorant or unlearned... but he may very well be just plain stupid.  His speech writers use enough buzz-words and catch phrases to make you think you're hearing what you want, but only that.  The truth in his narration is there for the gleaning, if one looks close enough, as many previous posters have clearly identified.  Watch the u-tube video of his, stalling, lip-quivering, lizzard-like delivery of his "Creator-Less" version.    Also, checkout the "In-Alienable" exchange, which totally alters the meaning.  Obuma uses "INalienable" rather than "UNalienable" when quoting the Declaration.  Many do this in error; Obuma can only be doing it deliberately... being the 'Constitutional scholar' and all.  In his original draft Jefferson used "INalienable". When Franklin and Adams reviewed it, they changed that descriptive term to "UNalienable", which became/is the term in final document.  Because Franklin and Adams changed it, and that change was incorporated into the final document which all signed, the Founders' intent shows a clarity abhorrent to Obuma with his "INalienable."  UNalienable rights... such as the life, liberty, and pursuit of happiness endowed [given, provided] by our Creator... cannot be sold, taken, or given away to another; they are inherently OURS.  INalienable rights.... such as property ownership.... can be sold, transferred, or taken... such as by laws/government.INalienable rights are legally "transcient."  UNalienable rights are our Founder's guarantee to each of us that the federal government must acknowledge and respect our sovereignty-of-self.  The Clowns substitution on INalienable for UNalienable is one more glaring example of his desire for our sovereignty-of-self to be usurped by his Marxist-goaled government.  Hitler did the same thing.  Subtle changes of words in speeches. Scary how close we are already.  As one democrat said, "Obuma? He ain't quite right in the head."  



To sum it up.... in this particular case, which has now been repeated on more than one occasion, it is the deliberate omission of certain words that mean things.  To me it means the Clown does not respect nor does he necessarily believe in the words that our forefathers used to describe the true nature of our God-given rights.  And this to me is cause for concern because it calls into question many other things about this person.  To quote George Orwell: "In a time of universal deceit, telling the truth is a revolutionary act."    There is no denying the truth that the words in "The Declaration" are the exact words used by our forefathers for all the world to see.  It was revolutionary then, and apparently, it is still revolutionary.
