In 1961 Ronald Reagan warned the public of socialism and how it can creep in slowly. His words ring eerily true today. In my opinion even more true today than ever before in this country's history.
This audio was aired by Glenn Beck on his radio program on 8/28/09.

It is happening, people. It is happening right now. Please put the party loyalty aside, either party, and look at the facts.

AMEN, Teresa... we could sure use him today!

Newt Gingrich on Hannity's America to discuss the 25th anniversary of two Ronald Reagan speeches - the "evil empire" speech and the announcement of the strategic defense initiative.

Ronald Reagan's speech to the 1964 Republican National Convention:

"Every once in a while I just have a compelling need to shoot my mouth off."

"If you don't have a sense of humor, you probably don't have any sense at all."

"A gun is like a parachute.  If you need one, and don't have one, you'll probably never need one again."

Thank you Teresa and Warph.  I was a non political housewife during the Carter administration.  But I did know that orange juice went from 33 cents a can to over a dollar a can.  Oh for a man as clear thinking as Reagan.

Ronald Reagan remains one of the top five presidents of all time, with a current 87% approval rating, higher than John F. Kennedy and Franklin D. Roosevelt.  Reagan was knighted by the Queen of England, (one of only three presidents) given Japan's highest honor, has an aircraft carrier, an airport and hundreds of federal buildings named after him.  Plus he has the biggest presidential library in the country.  It is rather funny how President Reagan still scares the Progressives, Socialist, and Democrats.  The truth always scares and defeats the left.......as it will here and now in America.

Worth hearing a patriot speak because as it says, "If one answers before he hears, it is his folly and shame"

From the 1961 Operation Coffee Cup Campaign against Socialized Medicine as proposed by the Democrats,
then a private citizen Ronald Reagan Speaks out against socialized medicine. There is no video because this
was an LP sent out by the American Medical Association.
