W. Dean Garison, 71, retired welder for 35 years with Cessna in the Experimental Department, passed away September 15, 2010. He was a member of New Spring Church in Wichita, Kansas.

Survivors are his wife of 47 years, Nola; daughter, Sheila (Greg) Frye of Colleyville, Texas; sisters, Donna Jean Saaverbra and Shirley (Woods) Kim; grandchildren Jordan (Lindsay) Frye and Tyler Frye.  He was preceded in death by his daughter, Dana Schaber, in 1992; brother, Don Garison; and sister, Anna Mae (Woods) Richardson.

Viewing will be Saturday, September 18, 2010 from 12:00 to 8:00 p.m. with family receiving friends from 5:00 to 6:00 p.m. at Resthaven Mortuary. Funeral service is at 3:00 p.m. Sunday, September 19, 2010 at New Spring Church, 12200 E. 21st.
