Lucille (Johnson) Ormston, age 90, of Elk Falls, Kansas, passed away Monday, June 7, 2010 at her residence in Elk Falls.  She was born June 15, 1919 in Greenfield, Missouri to George and Ruth (Long) Johnson.

She attended and graduated from Greenfield High School in Greenfield, Missouri.  She married George Allen Ormston, and he preceded her in death on March 4, 1999.  She moved from Wichita, Kansas to Elk Falls, Kansas in 1982.  She enjoyed fishing, cooking, gardening, and loved her pets.

She is survived by two sons, Bobby Allen Ormston of Elk Falls, Kansas, and Kenneth Michael Ormston of Wichita, Kansas; two brothers, Bobby Johnson of Greenfield, Missouri and Jerry Johnson of Missouri; three grandchiildren and three great-grandchildren.  She is preceded in death by her parents and her husband, George Allen Ormston.

Funeral services were held on Thursday, June 10, 2010 at the David W. Barnes Funeral Home in Sedan, Kansa.  Cremation followed the service, and a private family inurnment will be held at a later date.
