Danny was the grandson of the late Bert and Myrtle Bennett and Mr. and Mrs. Ed Morris (I can't remember Mrs. Morris's first name).  His parents both grew up in Howard, and Danny spent a lot of time visiting with numerous relatives in the area.  His aunts, Coretta Webster and Ruth Morris, still live in Howard, and Jean Gray was also his aunt.
