Najibullah Azai has been under questioning for three days by the FBI in Denver.

He rented a car in Denver and drove to New York on 9-11. He was stopped on a Manhattan bridge and his car searched but he was let go.

On Wednesday he was picked up by the FBI for questioning.

Wednesday and Thursday after interrogations he told the media that he was not a terrorist and would not want to harm a free country such as the USA.

Today, he broke down and admitted to the FBI his being part of an Al Qaeda terrorist cell involved in a New York subway attack plot.

He lives four miles from my home but it appears that he will not be going back there for some time.

This is, at least, the second guy from the Denver area involved with Al Qaeda.

The current fellow drives some type of vehicle at the airport, is 24, and has $50,000 in credit card debt. He told the FBI he went to Pakistan to see his wife but he is apparently not married. He apparently went to Pakistan to meet with an Al  Qaeda contact.

The other guy was a black Muslim who had received terrorist training in Pakistan. His family claimed racism because the FBI was questioning and pursuing him. He eventually admitted guilt.

Last I heard, he was in prison.

That was several years ago, though.
