HOWARD-  The Howard United Methodist Chruch was the scene for the recent candlelight wedding of Marilyn Sue Miller and Robert Dale Harrelson.  The double ring vows were heard by the Rev. Roy Brown.

Mr. and Mrs. Glenn D. Miller of Howard are parents of the bride, and the groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Bobbie G. Harrelson of Valley Center.

The bride, given in marriage by her parents, was attired in a princess gown of white polyester organza over taffeta, fashioned with a Victorian neckline, bishop sleeves and a full skirt with flounced hemline sweeping into a catherdral-length train.  The gown was done in imported Venice and Brussels lace with scalloped beadwork finishing the bodice and sleeves.  The bride chose to complete her attire a tiered, long matill of bridal illusion, with a head piece of imported Alencon lace with the fingertip tier edged in matching Brussels lace.  Her bridal bouquet was of red roses and stephanotis.

The matron of honor, Sandra Keast, Kansas City, Mo., and bridesmaids, Joyce Lofstrom, Kansas city, Mo., Suzanne VanSickle, Topeka, and Sherry Miller, Greenville, North Carolina, wore identical floor-length formal of azure blue quianna jersey, fashioned with Empire waist and spaghetti straps, topped with caplet jackets which tied in front.  They carried nosegays of stephanotis, peppermint carnations and daisies.
