  Sarah Alice Tipton was born November 22, 1833, in Muskingum County, Ohio, and died at her home in Howard, Kansas, March 30, 1910, aged 76 years, 4 months and eight days.
  At the age of 16 she was married to Wm. Workman.  To this union was born one son, A. F. Workman of this county.
  After the death of her husband in 1851, she removed to Leavenworth and there on the 27th day of June 1863, she became the wife of J. P. Graham.  They came to Elk county, in 1871.
  Sister Graham became a Christian early in life.  After coming to this county, she united with the Methodist church at Lima school house and at the time of her death was a faithful member of the Antioch church.
  She leaves a husband, one son, one brother and three sisters to mourn her departure.
  Funeral services conducted by Elder Gilbert Park assisted by Rev. T. A. Nichols were held at the Methodist church Friday, April 1, at 10 a.m.
