In my posting on the obit page for the death of Emma Reed Hugg, the obit states that Emma Hugg became a member of the Nazarene Church in Howard in 1904.

Does anyone have any idea where the Nazarene Church was in Howard?  In all my readings that I have done, this is the first time I have ran across any mention of a Nazarene Church.

I believe it was the old falling apart building on the corner of Perry and Adams.
"If one of the many corrupt...county-seat contests must be taken by way of illustration, the choice of Howard County, Kansas, is ideal." Dr. Everett Dick, The Sod-House Frontier, 1854-1890.
"One of the most expensive county-seat wars in terms of time and money lost..." Dr. Homer E Socolofsky, KSU

Thanks, Waldo.  I believe that you are right.  It was the Wesleyan Church when it closed down.  That building as well as the parsonage next door are owned by Mike McLean, here in Howard.
