Margaret Maude Christina Terrell, age 89, a resident of Grenola, Kansas, passed away Monday, May 4, 2009 at her daughter's home in Howard, Kansas.  Margaret was born on February 28, 1920 in Cambridge, Kansas, the daughter of James E. and Inez (Eastman) Nettrouer.

On February 14, 1940, Margaret was united in marriage to Clarence "Ted" Terrell in Howard, Kansas.  Over the next 69 years, they farmed and ranched together.

Margaret is survived by her husband, Clarence, of the home; one son, Robert Terrel and his wife Gayle of Gilbert, South Carolina; four daughters, Betty Jean Rumbley and her husband, Jim of Trenton, Missouri, Darline Terrell of Leawood, Kansas, Judy Terrell of Howard, Kansas, and Nadine Baumgartel and her husband, Marlin of Howard, Kansas; nine grandchildren; and twelve great-grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her parents and five brothers.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, May 9., 2009 at Zimmerman Funeral Home in Howard, Kansas with Pastor Robin Haines officiating.  Visitation will be held Friday from 1:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.  Interment will be at Greenlawn Cemetery in Grenola, Kansas.  Family suggests contributions to the Howard Twilight Manor and may be left in care of the funeral home.  Online condolences may be left at www.countrysidefh.com.  Arrangements are under the direction of Zimmerman Funeral Home, Howard, Kansas.
