Denton James Marrs, 3 months, of Chanute, Kansas, passed away Friday, January 23, 2009 at the Wesley Medical Center in Wichita, Kansas.  Denton was born in Chanute on October 11, 2008, the son of Adam J. Marrs and Kayla Manion.

He is survived by his parents; a brother, Cayden Matthew Manion; grandmother, Patricia Manion; step-grandfather, Jeff Keller; grandfather, Bryan Manion and his wife Kelly of Lawrence, Kansas; great-grandparents, Dorothy and Leon Catron of Iola, Kansas and Ernie and Sandra Small of Howard, Kansas; two uncles, Kyle Manion and Konnor Manion, both of Chanute, Kansas; an aunt, Keycey Manion of Chanute, Kansas; and two step-uncles, Dylan Keller of Chanute, Kansas and Darian Keller of Greenville, Illinois.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, January 28, 2009 from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. at the Penwell-Gabel Johnson Chapel, 101 N. Highland, Chanute, Kansas.  Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, January 29, 2009 at the Penwell-Gabel Johnson Chapel, and burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery.

Memorials may be made to the family to help with medical and funeral expenses.  Penwell-Gabel Johnson Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
