     I. B. Walker of Moline, who dates from 1870, was mingling with the Old Timers.
Mr. and Mrs. J.A. Street of Moline, and two or three of their sons, were with us on Old Settlers Day.  They date from 1881.  Mr. Street was a Civil War veteran though he does not look so old.
Mr. and Mrs. Chas. Pickell of Moline, were with us on Old Settlers' Day.  Charley has shaved off his mustache and looks fifteen or twenty years younger.
Mr. and Mrs. Jim Goss of Moline were on hand at the reunion.  Mrs. Goss is a daughter of the late D. W. French, and the Goss and French families were among our earliest pioneers, coming here in 1867, we believe.
The rains practically broke up the reunion at 1 p.m. and the young woman in charge of the register of old settlers and home comers didn't have much success in enrolling names after that hour.  The register shows about 190 entries.  Had the day remained clear and dry, there would have been several hundred more on the record.     Howard, Courant.
