Darrell David "Dave" Dahl, age 81, went to be with his Lord and Savior on September 11, 2023. 

Dave worked and raised his children in Valley Center, Kansas.  He went on to retire in Howard, Kasnas where he became a beloved substitute teacher and town handyman.  When he wasn't working, he loved to be in the great outdoors.  Some of his favorite activities were hunting, fishing, and golfing.  He was an active member in his church where he enjoyed singing in the choir.  He was a master of cooking breakfast and a lover of ice cream.  He was known for his integrity and for his ability to fix just about anything.

Dave is survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Karen Dahl of Howard, Kansas; his sister, Judy Sherman of Tacoma, Washington; his sons, Darin (Julie) Dahl of Towanda, Kansas and Tim Dahl and Emma Tull of Valley Center, Kansas; his daughters,  Amy (Shane) Milligan of Norman, Oklahoma and Beth Jolly of Maize, Kansas; six grandkids; many great-grandkids; and numerous other family and friends.  He is preceded in death by his parents, Paul and Geraldine Dahl; his brother, Phil Dahl; his sister, Gwen Dahl; his infant son, Brian Dahl; his son, Mike Dahl; and his grandson, Chase Stuckey.

Graveside service will be held on Thursday, September 21, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. at Hillside Cemetery, West 125th North, Sedgwick Kansas 67135.  Condolences may be left for the family at www.bakerfhvc.com.  Baker Funeral Home of Valley Center, Kansas is handling arrangements.
