EUREKA--Ella Maye Indermill, 82, formerly of Howard, died Aug. 5, 2005, at the Medicalodge in Eureka.

Services will be 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Zimmerman Funeral Home in Howard.  Pastor Kim Wilcox will officiate. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery in Eureka.

A memorial has been established with Hospice Care of Kansas.  Contributions may be left with the funeral home.

Indermill was born March 4, 1923, in El Dorado, to Ella Hester (Dillon) and Henry Elmer Griffith.  She grew up in El Dorado and graduated from El Dorado High School in 1941.

On Nov. 26, 1941, she married Wesley Franklin Indermill in El Dorado.  They lived in the Eureka area until moving to Elk County in 1947, and later moving into Howard.

In 1956, she enrolled in cosmetology school in Wichita.  After completing her course of study, she was licensed as a cosemetologist and operated her beauty shop in Howard for almost 40 years.  She had been a resident of the Medicalodge for the past two and a half years.

Indermill was a member of the Howard Christian Church for many years.  After the church closed, she transferred her membership to the First Baptist Church.  She was also a member of the American Legion Auxilary of Carter-Rader Post 149 and the Rebekah Lodge of Howard.

Her husband preceded her in death.

She is survived by her sons, Wesley Leroy Indermill, Huntersville, W. Va., Roger Allen Indermill, Drexel, Mo., and Rodney Lynn Indermill, Edmond, Okla., a sister, Mary Lou Kelly, Wellington; six grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.
