Kathryn L. "Kate" McGregor, age 78, of Fall River, Kansas, passed away on April 4, 2023 at KU Medical Center in Kansas City, Kansas.  She was born on December 24, 1944 in Beloit, Kansas, the daughter of Theodore E. and Dorothy M. (Logan) Wrench.

Kathryn worked as a cosmetologist and alongside her husband in the trucking business.  However, her dedicated job throughout her life was taking care of her family.  She enjoyed knitting and drawing; she was very artisitc.  She also made sure that within her large family to always send birthday cards, keep the grandchildren as much as she could, and sneak in time to watch her Korean drama shows.  Kathryn always had a strong faith, and was known as the family prayer warrior.

Kathryn is survived by her children, Phillip McGregor, Donald (Wendy) McGregor, Benjamin (Michele) McGregor, Deborah Hanna, Shelly Sims, Rhonda (Jim) Menard, Cheri Comstock, and Gina (Roy) English; siblings, Mike Wrench, Steve Maser, and Marlene Howard; 43 grandchildren; 60 great-grandchildren; and 1 great-great-grandchild.  She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Donald; her daughter, Lori Bingham; her sisters, Debra Kirk, Helen L. Wrench, and Margie Rider; her grandson, Bryan Roybal; two great-grandchildren, Hattie Jo Gilliland and Trinity Bouche; her daughter-in-law, Sharlene McGregor; and two sons-in-law, Darrell Comstock and Tom Sims. 

Funeral services will be held on Monday, April 10, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. at Countryside Funeral Home in Fredonia, Kansas.  Visitation will be one hour prior to service time with burial to follow at the Charleston Cemetery north of Fall River, Kansas.  Memorials have been suggested to either St. Jude's Children's Hospital or the 700 Club and may be left with or mailed to the funeral home.  Online condolences may be left at www.countrysidefh.com.  Services have been entrusted to Countryside Funeral Home, 420 S. 20th Street, Fredonia, Kasnas 66736.
