Anna Louise Wonser, age 78, of Arkansas City, Kansas, passed away December 29, 2021 at the Pleasant Valley Nursing Home in Sedan, Kansas.  She was born on December 27, 1943 in rural Cowley County, Kansas, the daughter of Rollin and Golda (Moore) Bohannan.

Anna was raised and educated in Grenola, Kansas and graduated from Grenola High School in 1964.  She was married to Lee Wonser, and three daughters were born to this marriage.  The couple later divorced.

Anna enjoyed sewing, quilting, making pies, and most of all her children and grandchildren.  She was a hard worker on the farm growing up and in various other employments throughout her lifetime including Rubbermaid and co-operating A&W Welding.

Anna is survived by her children, Sherry (Dale) Stone of Cedar Vale, Kansas, Karen Moser of Wichita, Kansas, and Carol (John) Kill of Grenola, Kansas; her siblings, Keith Bohannan of Cedar Vale, Kansas, Jimmy (Phyllis) Bohannan of Claremore, Oklahoma, Loel (Mica) Bohannan of Winfield, Kansas, Barbara (Kenny) Huster of Newkirk, Oklahoma, Linda (Lee) Pontious of Shidler, Oklahoma, Nancy, Rockwell of Arkansas City, Kansas, and Joyce (Don) Samuels of Winfield, Kansas ; grandchildren, Amanda Briele, Zach  Peel, Adam Stone, Tyler Kill, Josh Stone, Anna Kill, and Tiffany Jacobs; 11 great-grandchildren; and 3 great-great-grandchildren.   She was preceded in death by her partner of 39 years, Clark Conley; her parents, Rollin and Golda Bohannan; her sister, Kathy Kirchner; and her brother, Mike Bohannan.

Family will receive friends at visitation on Sunday, January 2, 2022 from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at Countryside Funeral Home in Howard, Kansas.  Funeral service will be held on Monday, January 3, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home.  In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made to the Chautauqua County 4-H and can be left with or mailed to the funeral home.  Services have been entrusted to Countryside Funeral Home 206  E. Washington, Howard, Kansas 67349.
