Charles H. "Chuck" Meadows of Eureka, Kansas passed away on August 19, 2021 at the Greenwood County Hospital in Eureka at the age of 68.  He was born on December 31, 1952 in Emporia, Kansas, the son of Charles Hubert "Harry" Meadows and Lois Louise (Evenson) Tomlinson-Meadows.

Chuck was raised in Emporia, Kansas and later lived in Severy, Kansas when the family moved in 1964.  He helped his father run their dairy farm.  Chuck attended Eureka High School, graduating with the Class of 1970.  He began working for the Greenwood County Road and Bridge as a road grader for over thirty years.

On September 20, 1980, Chuck was united in marriage to Kathryn Elaine "Kathy" Beedles in Eureka, Kansas.  They made their home in Eureka.  Chuck was a member of the Jefferson Street Baptist Church.

Chuck is survived by his wife, Kathy of the home; a sister, Beth Ann Seimears of Derby, Kansas; four half-siblings, Richard Meadows of Blue Springs, Missouri, Larry Tomlinson of Commerce, Oklahoma, Clarence Meadows of York, Pennsylvania, and Wayne Meadows of Brandon, Mississippi; and a great many nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by his parents and two half-siblings, Samuel Harry Tomlinson and Nancy Louise Howell.

Cremation has been effected and no services will be held.  Koup Family Funeral Home of Eureka, Kansas is handling arrangements.  Condolences may be left for the family online at www.koupfunerals.com.
