Pete Nusz of Rose Hill, Kansas, age 89, retired farmer and owner of Nusz Lawn Service, passed away on June 13, 2021.  He was born in 1932, the son of Johannes "John"  and Sarah (Penner) Nusz.

Pete is survived by his wife, Bonnie; his children, Charlene (Mark) Swank of Rose Hill, Kansas, Carla (Leroy) Cook, of Whitewater, Kansas, Quentin (Angela) Nusz of Rose Hill, Kansas, and Ruth (Brian) Farney of Perryton, Texas; his brother, Adam (Arlene) Nusz of Wellington, Kansas; his sister, Sarah (Paul) Koop of Howard, Kansas, Hannah (Dr. Harry) James of Pond Creek, Oklahoma, and Ruth Blackwood of Tulsa, Oklahoma;  22 grandchildren; and 27 great-grandchildren.   He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Sarah Nusz; his brothers, Aron Nusz, Albert Nusz, John Nusz, and Henry Nusz; his sisters, Olevia Milligan and Kate Dyck; and his daughter-in-law, Sandy Nusz.

Funeral service was held on June 18, 2021 at the North Woodlawn Baptist Church in Derby, Kansas.  A memorial has been established to the North Woodlawn Baptist Church, 1409 N. Woodlawn Boulevard, Derby, Kansas 67037.  Shinkle Mortuary of Haysville, Kansas has been entrusted with arrangements.
