Joseph Mark Mills, age 69, of Moline, Kansas, passed away January 21, 2021 at his home.  He was born August 26, 1951 in Salina, Kansas to John Mills, Sr. and Eunice (Owens) Mills.  He was raised in Hays, Kansas alongside 8 siblings and graduted from Hays High School.

Joseph held various jobs through the years including landscaping and chopping and hauling wood.  Fishing and hunting were his favorite hobbies.  He particularly loved lake fishing with catfishing high on that list.  He had a special buddy in his life, his dog Max.  He never left home without Max by his side.

Joseph is survived by his siblings, Lewis (Charon) Mills of Larned, Kansas, James Mills of Las Vegas, Nevada, Donna (John) Rose of Moline, Kansas, MaryAnn Dockstader of Orinda, California, Judith Mills of Houston, Texas, and Martha Mills of Lee's Summit, Missouri; and a multitude of nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by his parents,  his brother, John Mills, Jr. and his sister, Dorothy McKee.

Cremation has been requested with no services planned at this time.  Arrangements have been entrusted to Countryside Funeral Home, 206 E. Washington, Howard, Kansas 67349.
