Rick Sauer, age 63, of Wichita, Kansas, passed away December 12, 2019.  He was born February 18, 1956 in Wichita, Kansas.  He retired from the United States Postal Service in May 2014 after more than 30 years of service.

Rick is survived by his wife of 38 years, Betty Lou (Triboulet) Sauer; his daughter, Karli Sauer; his brother, Terry Sauer; and his sisters, Pam (Roger) Dater and Stephanie Sauer.  He is preceded in death by his parents, Clarence and Virginia (Cooper) Sauer; his maternal grandparents, Lonnie and Helen Cooper; and his paternal grandparents, Alexander and Killianna Sauer.

A Celebration of Life service will be held on Saturday, December 21, 2019 at 6:00 p.m. at Resthaven Mortuary, 11800 West Highway 54, Wichita, Kansas.  A private inurnment will take place at a later date.

Rick was the husband of Betty Triboulet, a former resident of Moline, Kansas, and the son-in-law of Helen Copeland, formerly of Moline and Howard, Kansas.
