Micky Lynn Wunderlich, age 63, of Piedmont, Kansas, passed away November 12, 2019 in Wichita, Kansas.  He was born October 9, 1956 in El Dorado, Kansas to Raymond and Shirley (Crismas) Wunderlich.

Micky was raised in the Piedmont area and graduated from West Elk High School in Howard, Kansas with the Class of 1974.  After high school, Micky moved to Oklahoma where he worked in the oil fields for several years before moving back to Piedmont.  He was a jack of all trades as he worked in a welding shop, rock quarry, worked on cars, and also farmed and ranched.  When he wasn't working, he was teaching his sons how to hunt, fish, weld, and work on cars.

If you knew Micky, he was giving you grief about something all the time.  He will be missed by everyone that knew him.

Micky is survived by his mother, Shirley Wunderlich of Piedmont, Kansas; sons, Gabe Wunderlich and wife, Marlana of Rose Hill, Kansas and Michael Wunderlich and wife, Amber of Derby, Kansas; brother, Allen Wunderlich and wife, Linda of Piedmont; sisters, Cheryl Henderson and husband, Roger of Newton, Kansas and Karen Loewe and husband, Mike of Owasso, and grandchildren, Caden, Kayla, Landon, Raylan, and Kyler.  He was preceded in death by his father; his wife, Roma; and his daughter, Jeris.

Memorial service will be held on Friday, November 22, 2019 at Countryside Funeral Home, 206 E. Washington, Howard, Kansas 67349.  Memorial contributions can be made in Micky's name to Countryside Funeral Home to help the family with final expenses.
