Married, at the home of the bride's mother, Mrs. Wm. Dolen, near Howard, Wednesday, July 18, 1917, at 8 a.m., Mr. Emanuel Dahlinger of Shawnee, Okla., and Miss Mary E. Dolen, of Howard, Rev. O.L. Weir, pastor of the First Baptist church officiating.

Only members of the family and a very few friends were present to witness the interesting ceremony, after which light refreshments were served.  Mr. and Mrs.Dahlinger then drove to Moline and took the train for the east.

The bride is the oldest daughter of Mrs. William Dolen of near Howard, and is a native of Elk County.  She was a successful teacher in this county for a few years, and then went to Shawnee, Okla., where for several years she was delivery clerk in the U. S. Postoffice.  She is a young woman of the highest character, amiable, capable and beloved by all who knew her.

The groom is a prominent business man of Shawnee, being the head of the dry goods and shoe department of the Mammoth Department Store of that city.

The Courant joins their many friends in wishing Mr. and Mrs. Dahlinger happiness and prosperity.
