Betty Lorene Pulliam of Park City, Kansas, 76, passed away on January 28, 2018.  She was born at home in Grenola, Kansas to Jean Deward Mason and Stella Laverne (Douglas) Mason.

After living in Grenola, the family moved to the Wichita, Kansas area where Betty attended school and graduated from Derby High School in Derby, Kansas.  After graduation, she went to business college.  Many years she worked as a Nurse's Aide, CNA, and CMA in Home Health Care and nursing homes. 

Lorene always enjoyed helping others and ministering to their needs which extended not only to her job, but also at church and home. She loved going to every single activity for her grandkids, and they loved having their "Naw" there.  She highlighted in going fun places with them.

Betty is survived by her children, Kila Hamwi of Wichita, Kansas, Douglas Bunton of Park City, Kansas, and Bradley Bunton of Park City, Kansas; brothers, Bill (Frances) Mason of Sterling, Colorado and James (Cindy) Mason of Benton, Kansas;  8 grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews  She is preceded in death by her husbands, James McArthur Bunton and Benjamin Harrison Pulliam; her son, James Walter Bunton; her parents; her sister, Barbara Blocher; her nephew, Steven Kruse, and her niece Brenda Davis.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, February 1, 2018 at Park City Baptist Church, 1301 E. 61st. North in Park City, Kansas followed by a funeral service on Friday, February 2, 2018 at 10:00 a.m., also at the church.  Graveside service will be held at Green Lawn Cemetery in Grenola, Kansas.  Memorials have been designated to the American Diabetes Association, 608 W. Douglas Avenue, Wichita, Kansas 67203 or the RiverCross Hospice, 251 S. Whittier, Wichita, Kansas 67207.  Condolences may be left for the family at bakerfhvc.com.  Service arrangements have been entrusted to Baker Funeral Home in Valley Center, Kansas.
