If the West Elk School Board was educated and  knew their jobs they would run a decent board meetinng and not behave like bunch of back water hicks.

And, they would ask the state for a school audit, which would provide expert assistance with their problems and maybe find errors or maybe some missing money in their financial books and perhaps help them operate more effectively. But they are not smart educated enough to do that.

I would expect the Superintendent to advise the board to do exactly that, except maybe there is something to be hide.

Instead, just keep raising taxes rather than find a better solution to financial problems and so, ignorance continues to rule. And continues to damage the local economy by raising property taxes.

Don't forget to vote Tuesday, they want another 8 mil on top of the 6.377 mil they raised property taxes by violating the state laws. Remember the board voted to only take 4 mil of the 8 mil their Resolution was asking for.              Since when is 6.377 mil equivalent to the 4 mil they voted to take?

Oh, to hell with the Elk County economy. And the County Commissioners are in the same boat. They give away $100,000.00 and raise property taxes 8 mil----to hell with the economy of Elk County. And forget paying off the interest laden-ed County debt---just give away money like good socialists.

IT'S ONLY YOUR MONEY !
You can use the money you would
have spent at the grocery store and drug store
for grocery's and medications.
They don't need the money to keep operating
and to pay their increased property taxes, do they?
Economics doesn't matter to socialist does it?

WICHITA, Kan. (KWCH) A new survey from the Federal Reserve Bank of Philadelphia suggests Kansas has the worst economy in the United States.

The survey combines unemployment, non-farm payroll employment, manufacturing hours of production workers and inflation-adjusted wages and salaries.

From July to September of 2016, Kansas showed a decline of more than 1 percent, leaving the Sunflower State dead last in economic growth.

Gov. Sam Brownback sopped publishing a semi-annual report of the state's economy online in August. You now have to make a special request for that document.

Hey, Americans have been trained to get help from the government.

The government schools have been indoctrinating us for 150 years.  You gotta pay for  indoctrination - it's your responsibility to the community to teach 'em how to think so they'll vote as socialists during their lifetime.

You can't find enough Republicans to stand against socialism.  Five to 10 per cent isn't enough Republican support to ever get the job done.  Republicans don't elect or re-elect their conservatives to stay in elected office.  That's the term limits that Republicans place on conservatives.  Republicans and modern Democrats are much alike - both socialists with different socialist views.

It's not gonna get any better as long as things continue and it looks like things will continue as is.
