West Elk Scholars Bowl

The West Elk Scholars Bowl team will travel to Herrington Thursday, Feb. 4, to compete in Regional Play.

Both the Varsity and the Junior Varsity teams placed first in league play - South Central Border League.

I'd name the members of the teams, but I'm not sure I would get them all right, so I'll check Monday at school and post them later.

Linda Shilts-Baum is the team sponsor.

Varsity members were Angela Perkins, Kyle Coffman, Kaitlyn Dodd, Alex Roe, Chase VanDegrift.

Junior Varsity members were Christian Warren, Dacia Barner, Kyle Nevil, Raven Garrison, Tim Whetstone.

The kids got 3rd place today in Herington and are going to state next weekend!

That is SUPER, hope they do Great. That is GREAT for the School, Parents and the Student Body. Money WELL SPENT.

The team going to State on Feb. 13th includes Kyle Coffman, Christian Warren, Chase VanDegrift, Tim Whetstone, Angela Perkins and Kaitlyn Dodd.
