Thanks, I am a happy person. It seems to me people who donate to things should be appreciated, not ridiculed. You'll never understand. So be it.
  I donate to Howard's fire works every year, yet I never see them. It gives me pleasure to know I've contributed to something folks in my family's home area enjoy.
I donate to several other things, but I never mention them for fear of being accused by the black cloud people of "bragging''. I have a huge joke on Ross, which I will never tell, that has to do with my donations, one in honor of my mom. He would choke if he knew.HA!

SIMPLE pay for it yourself out of your money that you earn. 

What becomes of the local miitary ,such as the Coast Guard? The National Guard? How about the military in general?

ALready provided for in the constitution with a CONSTITUTIONAL Taxation of the states.

There are many, many more services that people are so used to they don't even notice. I am always amazed at the services we receive here that are included in our tax bill. If I had to pay for them individually, it would cost so much more.

Any service should be paid for by the people using said service.   That is a pretty simple concept.

The connection to "slavery" is just silly. We live now, not then....and most of us live where there are more people, not in isolated pockets of "empty spaces." besides ,I think we are much happier people.

Lets see average american works for FREE to pay the TAX the government imposes on them with the threat of death.  IF that doesn't fit the definition of slavery then nothing does.   IF Your happy living in chains, then
