Glen E. Sinclair, 86, of Cedar Vale, Kansas, died at the Pleasant Valley Nursing Home in Sedan, Kansas on July 23, 2011.  Glen was born September 29, 1924 in Grenola, Kansas.  His parents were Ed and Luetta (Jellison) Sinclair.

Glen was raised and educated in the rural Grenola area.  He was a cowboy in the Cedar Vale area and had worked many of the ranches there.  He married Alice M. Bever on October 12, 1946.

He is survived by his wife, Alice, of the home; sons, James Sinclair of El Dorado, Kansas and George and wife, Carolyn Sinclair of Tyro, Kansas; daughters, Glenda and husband, Richard Urie of Sedan, Kansas and Alice Faye and husband, Jay Bland of Taloga, Oklahoma; and 8 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.

Memorial services will be Wednesday, July 27, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. at the Pavilion in the Park in Cedar Vale.  Private family inurnment will be at a later date.  Memorials have been established with Rivercross Hospice or the Park Pavilion in Cedar Vale, Kansas and may be left with the funeral home. 

Wheeler Funeral Home, 608 Chestnut Street, Cedar Vale, Kansas 67024 is in charge of services.
