Patricia Ann "Pat" Murrell, 80, of Winfield, Kansas, passed away on December 19, 2014 at the Riverview Manor Nursing Home in Oxford, Kansas.  She was born on October 15, 1934 in Grenola, Kansas, the daughter of Willard Glenn and Vera Mae (Barker) Jordan.

She was a 1952 graduate of Grenola High School.  On January 4, 1953, she was united in marriage with Ralph Murrell.  Pat worked in the office for Hittle Service for a number of years.  She served for 37 years in various roles with Girl Scouts and volunteered her services at both the library and Island Park Playground.  Pat was also an active member of the Oxford Christian Church and enjoyed helping others.

Surviving to honor her memory is her husband, Ralph, of the home; daughter, Pam Martin of Wichita, Kansas; grandsons, Joshua Murrell and Jeremy Martin; great-granddaughters, Olivia Rose Murrell; step-granddaughters, Lori Martin Cox and husband, Lloyd and Megan Martin; step-great-grandchildren, Jessica Cox, Taryn Cox, Cody Cox, and Barrett Cox; sister, Ethel Steward of Denver, Colorado; and sisters-in-law, Cheryl Jordan, Betty Jordan, and Morna Jordan.  Preceding her in death are her parents; her sister, Mary Mathis; and brothers, Robert, Dick, and Carl Jordan.

Memorial services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, December 27, 2014 at the Oxford Christian Church in Oxford, Kansas.  Inurnment will be in the Oxford Cemetery.  A memorial has been established with the Oxford Christian Church or the donor's choice.  Contributions can be left with the Shelley Family Funeral Home, 104 N.
