Mary Louise Conway was born July 9, 1924 in Neodesha, Kansas, the daughter of John P. and Clara A. (Gudde) Jansen.  She was a former resident of Moline, Kansas and died at Franciscan Villa Care Center in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma on Thursday, May 22, 2014 at the age of 89.

The former Miss Mary Louise Jensen was a 1942 graduate of Altoona High School in Altoona, Kansas.  She was married to Gerald Conway on February 25, 1946 in Neodesha, Kansas.  He preceded her in death on December 2, 1990.  Mary worked for Santa Fe Railroad from 1943 to 1947 as a telegraph operator.  She spent the rest of her life as a homemaker.  Mary moved to Broken Arrow in 2007.  She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Moline, Kansas for 71 years.

Mary is survived by sons, Michael and wife, Carol Conway of Milwaukee, Wisconsin and Ken and wife, Olga Conway of Fort Worth, Texas; daughters, Mary Margaret and husband, J. Michael Bartlett of Tulsa, Oklahoma, Patti and husband, Brad Sweet of Wichita, Kansas, and Michelle and husband, Doug Vander Linden of Burlington, Kansas; sisters, Margaret Cox of Pasadena, California, Anne Thurman of Kingston, Oklahoma, and Clara Young of Olpe, Kansas; sister-in-law, Julia Conway Cherry of Lawrence, Kansas; 16 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.  Mary was preceded in death by her husband; her parents; and a sister, Rose Whistler.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, May 28, 2014 at Franciscan Villa in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma with Father Swift officiating.  Graveside services will be held at the Mount Olivet Cemetery in Moline, Kansas under the direction of Hayhurst Funeral Home in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma.  Memorial donations may be made to St. Mary's Catholic Church in Moline, Kansas.
