Unlike America, Pakistan Tries to Resurrect Constitutional Liberty . . .

. . . by trying former dictator Musharraf for treason for quoting Abraham Lincoln and abolishing civil liberty in his country several years ago.  A Pakistani judge has taken the position, essentially, that "Lincoln was a tyrant, and so are you."  American academics, on the other hand, have for generations taken the position that yes, Lincoln was a dictator, but a "good dictator" when he illegally suspended habeas corpus, arrested tens of thousands of Northern state political opponents, shut down over 300 newspapers, confiscated firearms, illegally created the state of West Virginia, deported a popular Democratic Party opponent, committed treason by invading the Southern states in violation of Article 3, Section 3 of the Constitution, and worse.
