From the last Prairie Star, the following are the only ones who have filed so far for office:

County Clerk - Vicky D.
Wedman has filed.

County Treasurer - Rachel
D. Ware has filed.

Register of Deeds - Neva L.
Walter has filed.

Sheriff - No one has filed.

County Attorney - No one
has filed.

Commissioner Dist. 2 - No
one has filed.

Commissioner Dist. 3 -
K.R. (Ken) Liebau has filed.

Also open for filing are
township treasurer for each
township, as well as township
trustee positions.
So far Troy Bell has filed for Wildcat and
Daniel Salander for Howard.
Ann Bell has filed
for Wildcat precinct committeewoman.

Filing deadline is June 1st at noon. I hope we get some more candidates. However; of the ones who have filed, please get to know these folks. Make your own judgement. Be sure that you know WHO you are voting for.
