William Edward Frazier, son of Mr. and Mrs. John Frazier, was born in Peoria, Illinois, February 5, 1869, and passed away at his home in Moline, Kansas, January 23, 1953, at the age of 83 years, 11 months and 18 days.

He moved to Kansas with his parents in 1877, and settled at Longton, Kansas.  He was united in marriage to Bertha Hainlin July 21, 1891.  To this union eight children were born, two sons, William Leroy and Charles preceding him in death.  He moved to Moline in 1913, where he has made his home until his passing.

He is survived by his wife, Bertha, three sons;  Everett and Francis of Moline, Kansas, and Vernol of Beloit, Kansas, three daughters; Mrs. Roy Dalton of Chanute, Kansas, Mrs. George Warren of Wichita, Kansas and Mrs. George Julian of Clifty, Arkansas.  Thirteen grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren; one brother, Sam Frazier of Fowler, Colorado, two sisters; Mrs, Mabel Wilcox of Neodesha, Kansas, and Mrs. Nettie Rosendale of Woodward, Oklahoma, and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral service were held Sunday, January 25, at 2 p. m., at the Watt Funeral Home, conducted by Rev. O. W. Dewey.  Mr. Harold McCreight sang two songs, Going Down the Valley, and Beyond the Sunset, accompanied by Mrs. Elwinnie Tucker at the piano.

Burial was made in the Moline cemetery.
