If you only check one email, take the time to watch this very sobering, frightening video.  The name of Newt Gingrich has recently been mentioned as candidate for President.  We don't know at this time who will be the next candidate, but if you listen to and watch this very sincere man, you might just like the idea.  Folks we are all in this together.  It's worth a listen, the message is sobering but true. This is very short, but a MUST listen.

He's an intelligent guy.  Probably one of only 2 or 3 decent candidates on the republican side.  Its too bad that he's more interested in outlining an election strategy rather than fixing the country.  Remember that this is a fundraising speech given to the elite movers and shakers of this country.  He talks about running people in BOTH parties, not just republicans.

Interesting highlights include:

He blames bush for out of control government spending.

Republicans will always win the battle of ideals, but republicans always fail to follow through.

Radical democrats in charge are bringing us to a critical election.

Quit worrying about them (democrats) and figure out what the replacement is, and then campaign on it.  Don't reform or compromise with democrats, just replace them.

"design an argument so large, that when we win it, we crush the left" then he explains on how candidates can confuse voters into voting for them.

"flood the election with candidates" marginalize democrats, split them by encouraging moderate democrats, confuse and enrage the left, build coalitions to create a national majority.  compromise on ideals and pick fights that are popular

He then outlines 3 questions that will define the next generation.  Who are we, how will we compete economically, how do we protect ourselves.

Cut and balance the federal budget like we did in the clinton administration.  Cut SS taxes by getting the stimulus money back (remember this is 2009) 100% writeoff for small business when purchasing new equipment.  Zero capital gains tax.  12% corporate tax.  Abolish the death tax.

Our biggest threat is the Chinese.  Direct threat is that we can't even describe accurately the threat of irreconcilable Islam. 

We have a cultural problem.  Average Americans don't have common sense.

He gets into religion and so i just turned it off after that.
