                                                   MRS. C. H. CANNON DEAD

The remains of the late Mrs. C. H. Cannon were brought here from Chandler, Oklahoma, and were laid to rest Sunday in Grace Lawn cemetery beside those of her two sons, Charley and George.

Mrs. Cannon, had she lived until August 2, would have been 78 years of age.  With her husband and three sons she became to Longton in the early seventies, where they conducted a general store for several years, later moving to Howard and Elk Falls.  They went to Oklahoma soon after the opening, residing at Chandler.  Her aged husband, Clement Cannon, and son Harvey, survive.  The son and Frank Weathers, an old friend of the family accompanied the remains here.
