It seems I barely passed my Doppler test. Found out my right carotid artery is between 60-79% blocked, and the left is about 40%.
So next week I am going to see a cardiac surgeon in Bartlesville.
No decision will be made until after I see him and then get back with the Moline clinic. Shirley thought a stint? Would be necessary.
That is the reason I have been getting light-headed when I stand up and while with Robyn, I had what I call an event with me talking through a Knot-hole and altho I was walking and functioning, I wonder if it could have been a mini-stroke. I put it down to being tired and almost to the end of the trip.....had several months when my emotions and worry did get first place in my thoughts.......
Now, I am ok with this, have to be. I will ask you all to pray for me to do what is necessary and that I make the right decisions.
Please put me on your prayer lists. My faith is strong and I know where I will go someday.......so today is now and I will face next Wednesday when it gets here.
Just wanted to share what is about to come. Thanks for being there for me.
In His Name
Today, I want to make a difference.
Here I am Lord, use me!

Judy, if you do have to have surgery, don't worry about it.  I came through mine with no problems.  That was 4 months ago and the only problem I have now is with the scar.  It feels as if someone clipped me a good one on the chin.  Have faith in your doctors.  They know what they are doing and I found out that they didn't need my help or my instructions as to how to do it.

Judy, you will be in good hands with the cardiologists here.  Do you know which one you will be seeing?  There are 4 in the clinic and we like them all.  Frank and I both go to them, and we have been very pleased.  A friend of ours had 92% blockage, they put a stent in, kept her in ICU overnight and she went home the next day.  Has had no problem at all.  Our prayers will be lifted up for you.

Myrna, I am to see a doctor Frank Fore.
next Wednesday and either 10:30 or 11:00............I need to call to see which office he is in. I am sure it is at the hospital there, but haven't really learned how to goggle yet......but I will.
You are sweet. I know the surgery is something I can cope with. Just knowing it is necessary when I am feeling ok, for the most part and put the rest on aging and the arthritis, fibromyalgia, even the reaction from the chem-o I had. Mom was a heart patient, and her condition was not one that is heredited.had a valve problem that caused a heart attack,
I will lean on all of you a lot. thank you for being there......keep the encouraging words coming.
God bless you all.
Today, I want to make a difference.

I just called Dr. Fores office to get directions and he does NOT go to Bartlesville.
So, I called Moline clinic and plans will get changed...........just don't know what and when.
Thank God I decided to call today instead of heading to Bartlesville next week. Always some excitement.
Today, I want to make a difference.
Here I am Lord, use me!

I am to go to Wichita the 22nd of June to confer with a doctor that Shirley Black is sending me too.
Name of Hutchinson. I will know more about him today.  Now, time to get my day started.
Today, I want to make a difference.

I am assuming that this is Dr. Steve Hutchinson.  Steve Hutchinson is a fine doctor.  His office is in the building across the street from Wesley Hospital.  His patients go to the Kansas Heart Hospital on N. Webb Road.  I went in the night before because of the early hour for my surgery and was dismissed the day after the surgery, which also happened to be the day of the blizzard.  Janet got me home just fine in spite of the roads.  You won't have that problem if you have surgery soon.

Not to worry.  You will be in good hands.
