Leta (Bartlow) Wilson, 66, was called to her heavenly home on September 18, 2010.  A 20-year resident of Yukon, Oklahoma, she was born March 17, 1944 in Howard, Kansas to Earl and Rachel Bartlow.

Spending most of her childhood in Carmen, Oklahoma, she graduated from Carmen High School in 1962.  She married the love of her life, Rev. Loyd Wilson on March 24, 1963, becoming the perfect Pastor's Wife as they served the Lord together, and they had two children, JoLeta (Robert) and Del (Cathy) and five grandchildren, Natalie, Timothy, Emily, Grant, and Olivia.

In addition to ministering to several congregations and communities in Oklahoma and surrounding states, Leta also worked and volunteered at The Children's Center in Bethany, Oklahoma.  She enjoyed sewing, cooking, camping, spending time with her family, and bragging on her grandchildren

She was preceded in death by her parents; her brother, Norman; and her sister, Elsie. In addition to her husband, children, and grandchildren, she leaves behind her six brothers, Warren (Joan), Duane (Norma), Wayne (Marilyn), Rex (Ardena), Victor (Janie, and Mel (Peggy), a sister-in-law, Myreta; numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and countless friends.   

Visitation is at Mercer-Adams Funeral Service, 3925 N. Asbury Avenue, Bethany, Oklahoma, on Tuesday, September 21, 2010 from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m.  Following a private graveside service at Yukon Cemetery, a Celebration of Leta's life will be held at Christ's Legacy Church, 11101 N. Morgan Road, Yukon, Oklahoma on Wednesday, September 22, 2010 at 2:00 p.m.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Children's Center, 6800 NW 39th, Bethany, Oklahoma 73008.
