IF YOU CROSS THE VENEZUELAN BORDER ILLEGALLY YOU WILL BE BRANDED A SPY AND YOUR FATE WILL BE SEALED.   

IF YOU CROSS THE CUBAN BORDER ILLEGALLY YOU WILL BE THROWN INTO POLITICAL PRISON TO ROT.

     *  SUBSIDIZED RENT OR A LOAN TO BUY A HOUSE,

     *  FREE EDUCATION,

     *  FREE HEALTH CARE,

     *  A LOBBYIST IN WASHINGTON

     *  BILLIONS OF DOLLARS WORTH OF PUBLIC DOCUMENTS PRINTED IN YOUR LANGUAGE

     *  THE RIGHT TO CARRY YOUR COUNTRY'S FLAG WHILE YOU PROTEST THAT YOU DON'T GET ENOUGH RESPECT

So let's be sure the illegals get caught! That seems to be the hard part. Just listen to the legals roar if they are inconvenienced.  Somebody has to give somewhere. Those example countries have always had hard nosed, hard core reputations and have never bragged about their freedom status. The citizens there do not assume anything about their rights and their freedoms. We do.This nation was built on open borders and liberal freedoms for all who are here. It's only been relatively recently that we wanted the door slammed and started complaining. We all agree illegal is illegal. How much would it cost to simply overwhelm the illegals the way the military tries to do with the enemy so they can't lose? 10 to one? 20 to one? How do we do it? Arrest every one in a whole town and then release the ones who turn out to be legal after all? The they sue for false arrest? How do we make this work? Inquiring lawyers want to know.

Open borders??  You might want to go back and read the constitution.  While you're at it, read some of what our Founders thought about immigration.

Um, you are going to have to show me dear Varmit. I could have sworn the Supreme Court handled that not so very long ago. As far as I know there is nothing about immigration in the constitution. I'm sure you'll be happy to tell me if I'm wrong.
