Howard Courant
June 25, 1925

Miss Veda Dickson, the second daughter of Mr. and Mrs. A. P. Dickson, was united in the holy bonds of matrimony to Mr. Burdett Frailey, the eldest son of Mr.and Mrs. Al Frailey, Sunday morning, June 21, 1925.  A short impressive ceremony was performed at the home of the bride's parents by Rev. Ralph A. Stonebraker, pastor of the First Baptist church of Howard.  With the exception of Mr. and Mrs. Roy A. Maxey of Moline, the immediate families were the only ones present at the ceremony.

The bride is a member of the Howard Baptist church, and since a little girl had been a faithful worker and a regular attendant at church and Sunday school.  She was elected president of the World Wide Guild, a girls' missionary organization when it was organized some months ago.

The groom is the son of a prosperous farmer near Howard and is now working with his father.  He is an energetic and hard-working young man, well known and respected in the community.

The young people have lived in and near Howard all of their lives.  Their many friends join in congratulations and wish them a long and happy journey through life.  We are glad to see these young people form their home and take their place in our great nation.
