Tanner Weber was King and Amber Jones was Queen. 

We are heading to Burden to watch the Jr. High play today.  They are making up a game that was suppose to be played Thursday night.  Our Jr. High boys are 3 and 0 in league play, and a win today would put us first in the league.  My oldest plays and this momma is quite proud.  Go Patriots!!!

We are so glad to hear of the success these teams are experiencing. The young high school team has faced some hurdles in the fact that there are so few guys participating, but their efforts and hearts are strong, and they truly deserve these victories for all their toughness in competing.  It looks like the junior high is preparing a strong group to move up in the coming years, so that is also good news.  Congratulations to them all and their coaches who must be preparing them well, both physically and mentally with a "never give up" attitude.  Good job, West Elk!!!

I just talked on the phone with my brother in Emporia, and he said the Emporia Gazette said Solomon beat WE.  BOO....................
