Is it any wonder...

Correct me if I am wrong, but didn't obama say, when the torture issue first came to light, that we were not going to prosecute the CIA and those involved?  Didn't he say that we need to look to the future and not focus on the past?  So why is the CIA put on the chopping block yet once again?  Could it be because of all the media attention that is being focused on the Healtcare issue?  I think so.  With support for the healthcare bill slipping and the anger of the American people on the rise, obama and his adminstration, in a move that has become their signature play, needs something to divert American attention away from what they are doing.  Don't be fooled by this ploy.  It is merely the typical slight of hand that has become the SOP for this adminstration.

I guess we should have expected this to happen.  Afterall, obama did say that it wasn't going to.  Just like he said he wasn't going to raise taxes, he lied.  He said he "didn't really know Bill Aryes", he lied.  He said he didn't know Rev. Wrights feelings on America, he lied.  He said that the stimulus would save and create jobs, he lied.

So far, the only truthful thing that obama has said is that "...we are going to fundamentaly change this country" (paraphrasing there, can't remember the exact quote).  My question is why?  Why would he say that America is the greatest nation on earth and then seek to change it?  Could it be that his ideology is so far out of line with American principles that they aren't even in the same book?  If you don't believe me on that, take a look at the people obama has surrounded himself with.  Look at the czars.  Who are these people?  Where did they come from?

Is it any wonder why a community organizer who, during his college years, intenionally sought out marxist professors, made friends with radical leftists groups, and was a self proclaimed marxist, would want to fundamentally change the greatest nation on the planet?...nation that the world looks to for leadership, democracy, freemdom, and personal liberty.  Is it any wonder, that the adminstration he appointed, is seeking to prosecute those responsible for keeping this nation safe?
It is high time we eased the drought suffered by the Tree of Liberty. Let us not stand and suffer the bonds of tyranny, nor ignorance, laziness, cowardice. It is better that we die in our cause then to say that we took counsel among these.
